Note this is a Windows Vista box.

Good review here, though it says it has 3Gb rather than 4Gb (or it may be a dfferent model)

I know from experience that Vista has some issues but it's not exactly obsolete!

Did not say it was, just pointing it out for people who may not have noticed.

I run 3 desktop PCs at home, 2 with Vista (one with W7) and the Vista ones are fine.

While Vista got a lot of bad press at first it is now a good stable operating system that stands alongside W7.

Yeah it's just there's a lot of hate towards Vista so I was just trying to defend it. Still glad I went to 7 though. This is a really good deal for this laptop so if anyone is thinking of buying I really recommend you do.

i would buy the Samsung R519 for 10 pounds less,no dedicated graphics and smaller HD but has a slightly faster cpu and windows 7.
