    Resolution: 1366x768 pixels

1080p version of this machine is £729.

The £650 one is a SB not IB chipset.

But you get a bluray drive + extra 2gb ram for the money.

The 1080p + Blu-ray version has also dropped £20 from the previous deal - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/medion-akoya-p6815-15-6-laptop-core-i7-3610qm-windows-7-home-premium-gt650m-graphics-1251447

Build quality on these is poor, the specs do make up for it but they never help when it's in 3 pieces.

Yeh been reading, every review says the build is very poor, will give it a miss, they look like bit chunks of plastic.

Never heard of Medion are they any good as its pretty tempting with such a good graphics card under the bonnet.

Think like with any make it's luck of the draw. I have own a Medion Razor for about a year and can say I am very happy (I paid £380 for a laptop that will play skyrim with the high res pack with no issue's, I personaly can't ask for more), I have not needed to use there support but have heard it's not great (I work in IT so will only need for hardware issue's of which I have had none)
I take it to work every day to play at lunch time and it has not fallen apart on me in anyway, Unlike my last laptop (Toshiba) which was much worse build quality.

Not a bad price. Roughly equivalent spec from pcspecialist.co.uk (with 3yr warranty) would be about £670. Not sure about Medion quality though

Ive had a couple of medions and they are fantastic for the price. BUT the dc jack on my current laptop broke and its not covered by the warranty. Given that this is an extremely common fault in any laptop its worth bearing this in mind.

Saying that it only cost £25 for the repair on ebay

Themev, what spec is your laptop?
Anyone know how good the 650m is? Don't have access to a pc right not to check, just wondering what games it can handle and at what quality... Eg skyrim, battlefield, cod, diablo, gta 4.
    Thanks for any help.

Thanks Arnold. I wasn't sure about the graphics card capabilites.
A last gaming question for someone, would this handle gta 4 with the ice enhancer mod?
