I'm NOT voting - BUT I bought a Medion PC back in 2007 for £399 & it was the WORST mistake ever. The hard drive failed within the year & had to go back to the manufacturer (& the same happened to my friends Medion laptop) & then the whole PC went down again a week after the guarantee ran out. Argh!
I had rebuild the whole PC about 3 times & by the 3rd time I just had enough & gave it to the kids. So just over a year after wasting £399 - I went out to PC world & spent the same on my current Packard-Bell PC which has had no problems (& even if it does - then it's insured with PC world!)
I would not waste your money on a Medion PC after the problems I had.

what hard drive was inside it? generic?

sorry but you're solution to buying a medion and having problems was to buy a PC from PC world AND you bought the extra insurance?

I'm actually at a loss as to what to say to that...

Prebuilt PC's are like most things you buy, there will always be those built on or from parts made on a friday afternoon...

Now on my second Medion PC - no problem at all with 1st one, now 5 years old. Other one, now two years old has had a replacement fan, as original fan was getting noisy. No problems with getting a replacement fan, but had to fit fan myself, whilst courier was waiting for original, which had to go back.

OK, as a first post newbie can someone tell me what the £99 comments are about? If I made a mistake in the title I certainly haven't changed it so who has? I posted last night and just logged in now.
