medion md 96480 laptop was £599 now £399 instore. google it for spec, seems like a good price to me and reviews i have seen are ok.they had at least two in epsom store and if you know anyone who works for sainsburys you might be able to get another 15% off with there staff discount and have added a voucher which says for electricals, but i dont know if this will work but worth a try

Very nice price, may buy one!

Medion are under-rated IMO. I bought a cheap as chips Medion base unit 5 years ago and it is still going strong today with no real problems. So long as you don't expect Rolls Royce quality at Ford prices you won't go far wrong

Are you certain its this model as ive asked on another forum if its any good for gaming and a guy said he was in sainsburys today and saw a medion for 399 but was a different model, the standard intel dual core. Ill check it out tomorow anywho but it seems from a bit of researching that this model name has also got a different variant with 160gb harddisk and lower other specs.

Be careful about this deal as I've been to Sainsburys and one store had the posters up but no stock and when I went to another store they had the dual core model from £599 to £399 and the core2duo model with the graphics card etc from £799 to £599. Think it may be dependent on individual stores.

Not your fault fault stuart1955, but just wasted almost two hours on a wild goose chase :x

You just went did you teerex or did you go previously when the deal was posted before, hopefully its a "january" type of sale product.

all i can say is they had them in epsom 2 boxes on shelf and checked box and was md96480 and ticket said £399 from £599.so unless they have got there ticketing wrong, suggest anyone who wants one rings there local store

Medion = nasty cheap as chips **** as **** can be computers

Hi Schutz, I just went today. I went the last time the deal was posted some time ago and that was definitely the dual core model. This time, one store had the core2duo and it seemed to be £399 but they had none in stock. The other store had both models but the core2duo was definitely £599 on the ticket.

Dont know what's going on myself or whether its some error and the sale prices have not yet been updated :?

Utter tosh, I have had two Medion Computers, over 8 years, both are still running fine.

Phoned the three sainsurys up here and none of them have any laptops at stock regardless of the model number :( shame

I was referring to the low-end systems with celeron **** in them available in supermarkets and woolworths. The high-end can be reasonable.

Been in to Sainsburys

Laptop listed on thead is £599 reduced from £799, Sainsburys also have a Medion laptop with Duo T2150 older processor with onboard graphics for £399 reduced from £599 both orginal prices had been inflated to show a £200 sale offer.
