I know it is Lidl but they do have some good deals.... You gotta start thinking about the garden now and what better than growing your own lemons for your Gin and Tonic!

We were looking for something like this and the orange and lemon trees/bushes we found were all around £30 each!

These are a good spot available from 1st March according to the web site.

Aldi have a similar offer currently (but at a higher price) I bought a very nice standard Olive tree today for £12.99, which was about a third of the price of even cheap garden centres! These are probably significantly larger plants than the Lidl ones.

Aldi also had some very good quality fruit trees at £3.99.

The web site is http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/58_5144.htm

At these prices, you really can't go wrong. I'm annoyed now that I ordered the fig and olive from the Radio Times @about £14 - could have an orchard for that from Lidl. Must remember to get down there on the first. Cheers.

The larger Aldi trees are amazing - there were two there this morning absolutely dropping in kumquats. I couldn't have bought them for that price when I lived in Spain

Good spot but not easy to grow successfully unless you have a greenhouse or unheated conservatory. They will also need some looking afer to get decent edible fruit. Hard frosts will kill most of these citrus trees very easily so not really one for those away from the South maybe?.
Plenty of info if you google the topic so you don't waste your money (even though they are cheap!)

Heat added for the spot
