Most Meerkats live in large underground tunnels which they leave only during the daylight hours, but this particular breed prefers the environment of a nice cosy home. They are very social animals and this one really wants to be your gang

But that is a misleading description! Looking on ebay, meerkats like this are 2 a penny, but Harrods released an actualy comparethemeercat meerkat and THAT is worth around £60.

I don't know if this helps anyone or is allowed on this site but don't shoot me down! I went to a business networking event in Wrexham recently (I'm based in Bolton) and the local hospice (Nightingale I think) had a representative there. I bought one each for both my boys at a fiver a pop and not only do they look spot on (dressing gown & all) it was great to help a charity. I'm sure you can call them direct and they'll send a real one out to you and you get the real thing. They're 12 inches tall too!
