Hello everyone, I was looking for some cheap airport parking at heatrow and came across gosimply. 17 days parking budget/economy meet and greet car parking through purple parking comes to £59.64.

I tried from 6 to 27 March (therefore 22 days parking) and still £59.64.

I tried some dates in may july and august. For example from 1 to 31 July (1 month parking) £74.65.

Also March 8 until 22 March and came to £54.64. Tried 1 week at £52.64. Still cheaper than normal parking.

I haven't checked others but if you find any good deals at other airports post your results please.

Be quick to book if you need as it might be a misprice, because comparing the prices the same parking is £96 at Fhr and essential Travel.

Thanks, quite pleased as I saved myself £30... I hate paying these fees for parking at airports! Sometimes cost more than the flights!

I booked 15 nights meet and greet parking at Manchester Airport for £54.25 with Purple Parking a few days ago!

Bet they dump the car outside a crack den.

Manchester is pretty cheap compared to Heatrow. Unfortunately for us southerns London airport parking is really expensive.

The budget car parking has good reviews http://www.gosimply.com/airport-parking/heathrow-airport/compare-prices?id=646797.03639c2aa0808a5772e576c8ec24a57c&cpkey=298_0

The other one has no reviews (the economy one) so probably better booking with the budget. That is what I did, also because looks as they have more security there.

Last time I used a meet and greet at Heathrow my car came back with an extra 43 miles on the clock. Either the park was a long way away or someone had a jaunt in my car. Really not happy as I was left wondering how they had driven it as well. Probably hired it out for a wedding!

Parked another time at Gatwick and paid to park at a hotel. Came back early because I caught an earlier flight and they had to get a taxi to take me to a field to collect it as their drivers were off duty!

Keys go with me every time now and park in a car park I know it is going to stay in and is at or near to the airport.

Looks like a HOT deal. I used Purple parking at LHR last year, 15 days £35 with a code floating about. Had to use their Purple bus though.

The Quidco will get declined, purple are really hot on not using discount codes with Quidco. Purple are ok but their quite a way from the airport & it can take a while especially if it is rush hour.

Yep. I've had mine declined a couple of times now.

I've used meet and greet a few times now when using London airports. The mileage was OK, but they'd broken lever that adjusts the seat height last time we used it. Didn't notice till we got home and I adjusted it for me to use.

I wouldn't use Purple Parking again if it was free. Its absolutely miles from the airport and they make you wait for ages until the bus is absolutely full until they leave. And god help you if there's any traffic (which there almost certainly will be). 45 minutes approx. transfer times both times for me. And the area its in.......the less said the better.

You'd be much better off booking a cheap night at one of the holiday inn's around the airport and leaving your car parked there for free like most of them allow, that's what I usually do now.

Used meet and great at T5 Heathrow this Christmas. Car clocked up a massive 8 miles while I was gone and the whole experience was way way better than any off site parking and bus trip I've ever had. ps Used HappyDays Can definitely recommend.

yes if you live no more than 30 miles from lhr. but not all of us do!!!!!!

This is meet and greet. The driver will meet you at the airport and take the car for you so there is no transfers.

Seems to be too good to be true!

Has anyone travelled yet having used this code?

JUST TRIED IT... LHR - 29/7 - 6/9 .... 120 pounds normal and 140 for meet and greet. :(

i'm in leeds so with driving down costs etc .... :(

can anyone help me get cheaper?

For Purple Parking you can try TIPO for around 50% off. I'd go along with what others have said........ waited quite a while after arriving late for the transfer.....something I could well have done without. Why they ask you to phone on arrival is beyond me.
#25
Stupid new HUKD and the no edit "edit". You could try Holiday Extras for a hotel & parking deal.... can even be free if you can take them up on their guarantee.

Have a look on their site - they offer a price guarantee - find the same deal after booking (with 24 hrs IIRC) and you get your money back.

https://secure.holidayextras.co.uk/hotels2008/p/genericLightbox,bestPriceGuarantee?TB_iframe=true&height=450&width=800

Tip : Pay the few quid for the cancellation insurance so you can cancel if your cheaper price turns out to be invalid.

It has to be the SAME deal in every way or you are out of luck. It was posted here a while back.
