Thanks, they've been this price before but not for a while.

I got these for a tenner before xmas - and then took them back when Asda had the same ones at £5.50

megabloks micro 1000 pieces also less than half price (£12). Does anyone know if these are really compatible with lego? I've read reviews suggesting they are, but do they fit with lego pieces easily or can you tell they're not the same brand bricks?

I haven't tried to put a megabloks micro brick with a lego brick, but they look exactly the same if that helps.

Only problem with Megabloks is their quality control as pieces are usually very tight fitting, like some kids can't put them together tight, but there are often pieces that are so loose they just fall apart of their own accord. Lego is consistently just right.

Great, thanks. Just ordered some!

My 3 year old was asking for Lego the other day and maybe it's a bit "fiddly" for him at the moment. This looks perfect, reserved!

They work fine with lego.

Thanks for the clarification re. lego compatibility

Just tried the micro blocks. They are a tighter fit, but seems OK. Slightly cheaper look to them than the lego ones, but perfectly fine I think. I'm pleased, £24 for 2000 bricks and 2 nice tubs to store them in.
