I prefer the retro gaming experience personally. If I was going for a handheld to play megadrive games on then I would choose the Nomad. This piece of equipment won't even come close to the quality of the Nomad. Not for me.

This sounds like a good thing for me to get for the kids as they constantly fight over my ds - would the games be suitable for 4yr boy/7yr girl? (don't know much about megadrive games apart from sonic lol)

But where are the original games like Dick Tracy and Road Rash 3D? I can only see a couple of games on there that I played with as a kid.
#13
Shame it doesn't use rechargable batteries then I would buy one. Good find though

then you had a ruined childhood ::P lol

Why can't you use rechargable AAA's?

i bought one for my nephew for xmas .... the damn thing is dinky ....and i mean dinky ... feels liek it would break if you handed it to hard as well ... not the best build quality either .. does teh job tho ... but seeing as you can get the sega mega collection on other consoles for the same price with alot more games then this seems pointless

I think these are only £20 in Argos (bouth one for my Son back before Christmas) - that is a white one, in a nasty purple Argos box, though!
Best thing to do for everyone arguing above is to custom firmware your PSP, then get a big arsed memory stick and shove every Megadrive ROM and CD image you can lay your hands on onto it.
I reckon you could get every MD cart based game on a 2gb card with room to spare for a few of the decent CD's!

probably, but then you still need a PSP, which even 2nd hand would cost way more than this :)
