Melting Shelf Clock for £5.99 @ Play.Com

SyzableSyzable[mod]

It's a quirky little thing.

Make your home into a seriously cool pad with the Melting Clock. It looks great on a fireplace mantle, it looks fantastic on a shelf, and it looks seriously cool just sitting on a sideboard. In fact, the melting Clock will be a talking point wherever you decide to put it!

    Any Dahli fans out there?

    Mate of mine has one.

The design is OK if you like that sort of thing.

But the materials are very cheap and plastic looking .....

better for a quirky bedroom than a living room, imo.
    but still fun.

Agree with sancheez - it looks and feels very cheap "in the flesh" so to speak. Scuffed silver plastic around the edges, easily scratchable plastic on the face... Not really worth £5.99 even.

It doesn't look cheap unless you look at it from about 3 inches away. My mother bought me one for my birthday last week and it's cool.
Quite shocked at how cheap she is though, I just bought her a £350 telly...

The person who invented this : Salvador Dali, knocked a few paintings out in his spare time, brought surrealism to the masses and all that, you might have heard of him...

    Though probably not.

Dali didn't "invent" clocks or melting, just painted them, among other things.
I presume the previous poster meant an actual, plastic, functioning clock.
There is really no need to be a smart-ass to try and make someone feel small over the internet.
    Lighten up.
