Wow! Looks this looks like a great deal- thanks Norbie - I had that Chocolate facial in my local spa and it cost me £65 - well worth the money though!! Great timing for easter - saves eating it I guess and piling on the calories!
Nice to see a break including golf and spa at a reasonable price - I went on their website via the link above and I cannot believe how cheap their spa treatments are! You get £10 off each one - although note they do specify off each hour of treatments! Still works out really good value. i see they use Decleor as well.
One of their breaks even includes bike hire - notn sure I want to be that active - but its great to have the offer just in case....

Going to try and book up 2 or 3 days now...
Here are those links again - hopefully clickable now. Sorry, new to this!

ive stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past and now live 2 mins walk from it.
some of the trip adviser points are sort of valid (i also contribute to trip advisor) the thing is all the blurb makes it out to be some sort of country estate when its not, pool is very small as are the spa facilities.
the rooms are a bit of a mixed bunch, i have had rooms ranging from standard to the four poster bridal (imagine the looks when i booked the bridal for single occupancy) imho for this money you are getting what you paid for, its not a bad deal but don't expect a big country estate.
Don't forget that when reading online reviews, just consider the following....

If you have a rubbish holiday, the first things you'd want to do is tell the world how crap it was. Feeling so angry you may post onthe internet to pass the message.

When you have had a great holiday, you usually just tell people and don't post on the intertnet how great it was.

I have never been, but don't always go off online reviews as sometimes you will be missing out.

I went to a Haven site a few weeks back. After booking it I found some awful reviews and I was gutted thinking I had booked a nightmare holiday. Well, it was probably the best Haven holdiay we have had in 6 years, so reviews were wrong.

Just a thought

My wife and I were actually laughing out loud reading this!

Happy to entertain!! :w00t:
I've been...the food was good, but the facilities are a bit limited - ie the pool is tiny and the jacuzzi isn't great.

The rooms weren't upto much either, I'd only recommend using the place as a base to visit elsewhere. Don't go there just for a spa weekend, you'll be disappointed.

thank you for the link on trip advisor as a result i will not book this place myself personally
