I always see this stupid comment or a similar one like "use your phone, it shows the time too" on luxury watch posts.

What car do you drive? You could have got a cheaper one does the same job..

What trainers or shoes do you wear? could have got a cheaper one, does the same job.

What jacket do you wear? Could have got a cheaper one, does the same job.

What TV do you have? Could have got a cheaper one, does the same job

Now you see how stupid your comment was?

Had one of these for years, good watch at this price, but the battery replacement costs of nearly £100 Tag official retailers now charge make it a never again purchase for me. Also don't go down the £20 non franchise retailer battery replacement with a "lifetime warranty", mine never worked properly again after I put it in, wasn't sealed correctly and I eventually binned it.
Having said that, if you can see beyond the battery replacement costs, this is still a good deal, so heat from me to the OP.

Best comment I've read this week... Binned it lol. Yeah no problem Bill Gates we believe you

I have never worn a watch and never understood the actual point of them in terms of "telling the time" Yes they tell the time but no matter where I am in the world I can find out the time in a matter of seconds as there are clocks, televisions, etc. everywhere you look.
This has always been the case so no need to even mention mobile phones.
What we actually have here is egotistical people wearing expensive items on their wrist to show off to other similarly minded fools, actually guys we don't care, so you just carry on wasting your money on stuff like this whilst the rest of us laugh at your foolishness.
Why buy anything expensive then? I suppose you don't have any luxury items in your possession?
I've had the same conversation with a friend of mine that couldn't understand why I would spent 4 figures on a watch since you can tell the time anywhere. She then went and bought herself a Prada bag which was more expensive then my watch! I asked her why buy an expensive bag when you could use an asda bag which does the same thing.
I have several watches ranging from a fairly cheap smart watch to a mid range and a luxury watch. What's wrong with people actually you know... Just liking and buying things they like.
I currently drive a car that was £100,000 list price new, it cost me £50,000 at 9 months old. £50k well spent in my opinion, on the dashboard it tells me the time, hence I have no need for a watch even on a 1,000 mile journey. I don't feel the need to brag about my car, however since you are all bragging about your poxy watches I thought it was worth a mention. By the way it's 22:58 p.m.in case you ain't got a stupid £2,000 watch on your wrist.
Doubt it. You own. 50k car and your last post was for a steering wheel for an xbol lol. What car do you have on Gta a Lambo or Ferrari? Do you sit on your dad's lap and press the pedals??

I go down the "do it yourself for £3". Its a doddle and the whole "official reseal" thing is a complete con outside of professional dive watches (which this certainly is NOT) . Worst case, new gasket and a smidgen of watch silicone grease, another £3.

Good find I'm tempted but after watching the 360 video the second hand doesn't quite line up with the markings and that would bug me at this price but that's just me. Have some heat.

You may be lucky and not get the actual one shown in the video :)

Seriously though, I think it's just the camera angles, I think it will probably look okay in reality.

Don't really rate TAGs, but this is a low price for a reasonably upmarket brand, heat added.

Good price. Bought the Senna edition for Christmas but was close to going for a Oris Aquis Date

They are not valid. The watch is technically inferior.

Would you not buy the better car that was cheaper?

Would you not buy the better trainers that were cheaper?

Would you not buy the better jacket that was cheaper?

Would you buy the better TV that was cheaper?

Now see how stupid your comment was?

Your paying for jewellery simple as. :)

Me too. I used to send it to Tag for the battery change but yes, stupid prices. I now take it to the man in the market and he does it for £2.99p. He does warn me that it's not too waterproof anymore though; but I wouldn't take that watch to the beach anyway!

Totally agree, it's not rocket science. I change my Omega battery myself, usually the seal remains intact.

Heat for the deal. Good expensive watches. For those of you who have money to burn and have one to bin (not €5 Greek ones) please contact me, I'll even pay the postage.

But this money spent on a CW would get you a much better quality watch - it's a matter of opinion how much 'heritage' is worth - to some it's everything but to other almost irelevent. Heat added but personally I'd buy the CW.

But the TAG is a good discount.

Exactly what I was thinking, and the realisation that they charge £100 for a battery change, they should change the whole movement for £20

I'm not a fan of Tag watches, the style is not to my taste. Also, they don't get a nice patina, they just look shabby.
