i went in last week they had a load of them in net bags hanging on a rack near the other shoes.

Is it good for the serious road (tarmac) runner? I normally prefer NB or Asics. Bad running shoes can damage your legs.
#11
I seriously doubt this would make a 'good' running shoe. I cant find any information about it on the web so don't know what sort of support or running style it is best suited to.

I would be very surprised if they ever got sold at £50 as well given that you can get a Saucony, Asics, etc for not much more.

+1
seriously don't look like a decent running shoes, doesn't seem to have any special shock absorb materials. I mean this is one of the + points they can find on the running shoe "Shaped padded ankle for comfort*.
Used to sell similar styles back when i worked in a well known sports store and they are pretty uncomfortable to wear.
#16
Worth a punt for this price, and in stock for my flippers! Ordered two pairs, even if they're no good for running, they'll do as basic trainers for other exercise.

cheers OP

Probably only OK for running small distances a few times a month.

But then again good running shoes can do just as much damage as a bad pair if you have the wrong type of trainer.

If you are running 20+miles a week you should really go to a decent running shop who can help you choose a shoe for your running style.

Hot - where else you gonna get head for £8 ???
#22

Then HEAD out the door for a run or even HEAD down the shops and then HEAD back home for some HEAD if you have a friend you can call on :whistling:

Ah maybe instore only. Thou, if you was smart enough to link your cc. Then the transaction would show up within Quidco, with the respective percentage back, within a couple of weeks.

As for muppets that have never heard of head. Where the f*** have you been? lol! Secondly, you try and get a non brand cheaper than that!

I usually don't have to pay for my HEAD

Just seen these retail for £15 usually from the sports direct tv advert on ITV during the United game.

Seconded. There's also no way of telling from the website what the delivery charges are without opening an account. Would someone who had bought those please say what the delivery charges are?
#28
good deal shame they dont do a size 14
#29
Postage is £3.99
I got some for DH and a few other running things for me - have to admit I went for expensive Saucony ones for my tootsies :D
#30
Why expired? Just been to my local Sportsdirect store and loads in stock. Pretty comfortable and a steal for £8!
#31
Ive just had these delivered today :-D

Haven't really got round to looking at them, by the fact that I'm distracted by the seemingly free gift...

It's a SportsDirect mug, literally bigger than the one God himself must use... though he's probably got a JJB one...

Has anybody else managed to receive this? Makes this deal even hotter, for those of us who managed to get it before it expired... :)

Yep, I got a free mug, too. It's the second one I've had from them now!
#33
I got a free bag. Lucky me! Did my first run in these today, and really comfortable, very impressed for the money.

Available in-store from Sports Direct on Ludgate Hill Nr St Paul's in London - they are price tagged at £15 but they ring up at £8 at the till (todays the last day I was told). They are hanging up in net bags as opposed to being in shoe boxes.
#35
Ordered a pair of size 12, they arrived yesterday and look pretty good. Only prob is the label in the tongue says UK 11.5 , US 12, so they don't fit my flippers !
Have emailed Cust services, lets see how they handle this one...
