Product overview

Make the most of your garden this summer, with this delightful summerhouse from Waltons. The Styrene glazed double doors are safer than glass-glazed doors, and have matching handles, hinges and lock. The roof has a mineral felt covering, for damp-proofing and great longevity.

Eight windows - four within the doors - let in plenty of light, so whether you're al fresco dining or enjoying a paper with a cup of tea, you'll be able to enjoy the sunshine.

The sustainably sourced timber is pre-treated, but will require a spirit-based timber preservative treatment shortly after construction, to validate the guarantee.

Designed for easy, two-person assembly, this summerhouse comes with full instructions and a 10 year manufacturer's guarantee against rot.

what's the point of this?

Its a shed for posh people to look out onto their lovely gardens ;)

The rest of us get the ones half the price that obscures our eye-sore gardens

what is the point of a shed?

well you could ask that about anything really

life, whats the point of it?

Is it a shed?
I mean, why would you want to advertise what you've got in the shed?

I like it, a place in the garden to sit & drink beer on rainy days!

Isn't this what your house is for?

I can't tell whether people are trying to be funny or not. A summer house is clearly something you use when it starts raining during your BBQ but which allows you to continue with the al fresco dining as you wheel the BBQ up to the sheltered doorway and your guests huddle behind you (7x7 gives a generous 1ft each - just don't have more than 7 guests or overweight people).

I hope that's cleared it up. Very useful for rainy BBQs so I'm voting hot!

Cheaper than a mortgage...

This is a decent price for something more attractive than a bog-standard shed.
Hopefully it will still be this price in a couple of months when I need one.

How many people can it sleep??? hot for me as a second home, lol.

So THIS is what Spotify was on about...

So far any shed I've seen from Waltons uses thin planks and the floor is weak.
Guaranteed for 10 years? It won't rot in 10 years providing you keep it treated.

Poor quality so cold from me.

Bet i could knock one of these up out of pallets from work ;)

Your pallets have windows?

Where do you work?

Same price on Walton site direct. They also sell ready made bases which are less hassle.

Walton sheds are OK - good value, but floors are a bit cheap. Would recommend adding something in there for stability myself. Nothing to stop you customising these things......the styrene they use is pretty awful, so budget £50 or so for better quality (can get cut to size ones on the bay)

Check out the dimensions........6'4" by 7'

Where has the 8" gone?
#21
Stick some wheels on it and use it like a caravan

Would need 2 pallets less then for the windows & a bit of perspex job done (_;)

Put it in front of patio doors, cut a hole in the back and pretend it's a conservatory.

block up the windows and you got a shed!

Personally (if I were buying one) i'd rather pay a few ££ more and have the larger one here - http://www.gardenbuildingsdirect.co.uk/Summerhouses/BillyOh-4000L-Lucia-Tongue-and-Groove-Summerhouse
I think it looks nicer too and you can buy the sold floor to come with it.

As stated in earlier post, this is the same price at Waltons - but you get cashback from TCB @ 3.03% meaning a better deal.
