It's only good as a basket filler.....

Morrison's do 2 x 340g SunPat Chrunchy for £2.50. = £3.70 /kg

Amazon = £3.63 / kg

So you save a huge 1p per tin! :D

Captain, we have detected some awful peanut butter on our long range scanners. It is identifying itself as 'SunPat Crunchy'.

No comparison at all! Sun pat has added sugar and crap, this is 100% peanuts!

Is this any different from the Whole Earth one?

Is this any different from the Whole Earth one?

The thickness is different, this one a lot runnier compared to the Whole Earth which is really quite thick. It also tastes a bit more 'bland' to me than the Whole Earth. (I was buying the Whole Earth Organic.)

But for the difference in price, it's a no brainer and the family got used to the differences pretty quickly.

Don't understand???? Still more expensive.....

The offer is 6x280g=1680 = £3.63/Kg (add-on item)

I usually buy the 1Kg tub on Holland & Barrett for £5.99, so this is a very good deal....

Plus, you only open one jar at a time - with the 1kg tub, you open the equivalent of 4 jars at the same time (or thereabouts .....)! :D

I do love peanut butter but this deal is only good as a basket filler.....

Morrison's do 2 x 340g SunPat Chrunchy for £2.50. = £3.70 /kg

Amazon = £3.63 / kg

So you save a huge 1p per tin! :D

Meridian does look like a high quality product though - no artificial additives etc.

Tesco value brand is even cheaper (99p / tin) though probably contains a lot of artificial goop.....

^ I'd love to taste test these different brands as I have peanut butter and jam on toast almost every day :)

Nothing wrong with 3% cane suger etc when peanut butter is already full of huge amounts of fat!!

Doing some Googling, the Asda "Chosen by You" brand seems to be the biggest con around.

Super cheap but hydrogentated vegetable fat. No thanks. Don't think anyone would choose it if they knew what was in it....

I have the 1KG tubs of this and love it - top notch peanut butter! Gotta love stirring that gorgeous separated oil into it... Mmmmmmmmmm!

No nasty palm oil or anything other than peanuts in it too

It says Amazon will dispatch it from 1-3 weeks - order it at this price and they'll honour it. I ordered the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups when they were no longer in stock and they dispatched them much quicker than they first said and it was at the offer price. :D

great price but because this has no palm oil you have to stir it loads and most comes out the jar when your'e doing it :(

That doesn't bother me in the slightest - I hate seeing Palm Oil being added to anything, with the way it's produced and the damage that's done to the environment.

You can't now as the item actually has to be on hand for you to get it via S&S options, it seems that the stocks have sold out although can order at the normal price for delivery in 1 to 3 weeks time
