can i use these on my sack?

I tried the 34 and it was small compared to this razor. The extra length here made a world of difference.
This razor has everything you'll expect from a decent razor. This works much better than a disposable razor or multi-blade cartridge. I recommend this to anyone who wants a close shave.

Yes, indeed you can

Ordered. Had my eye on the other stainless steel one but that quickly went OOS once it was posted on here!

What blades does one buy for this?

Do you mean the multiple ones under your chin?
I think you will be fine as long as you get a couple of packs of styptic sticks

Awesome deal - nice find OP!

Any you want! I use Astra Superior Platinum and get on well with them. Bought a pack of 100 off ebay for less than 10p a piece.

You can try Derby blades to start, Feather when you get your technique down.

Thanks - will have to check these out. I presume these blades are multi-use until they're not as sharp any more?

yeah I usually get 5-6 shaves from the astra platinum blades so 100 will last a good while.

What's the difference between one of these and a mainstream Gillette or King of Shaves razor?

thanks, heat added.

what's this like on bum fluff???

This is rather a good deal on the men-u Premier Synthetic Brush: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/men-u-db-premier-shaving-brush-with-chrome-stand-white-15-09-mankind-2098837

It is worth looking at the HUKD DE Shaving Thread

Ace deal OP. If I didn't have my ED, I'd snap this one up.

Feather is my blade of choice.. As stated, you probably want to start of with the derby's first.

Your best bet is to get a sample pack of DE razor blades before splashing out on a pack of 100.

Do a search on eBay for DE razor blade sample pack or check out the DE Shaving Thread for other places to buy and any deals going.

Been using a Merkur 38C Barberpole for the past three and a half years. My first DE razor and it was after seeing a few deals posted here mentioning the big DE shaving thread that I did plenty of reading plus watching some YouTube videos that I decided to take the plunge and switch from using Gillette dual fixed blades with lubrastrip which weren't lasting long and were costing around £6.99 for only ten blades. Picked up 100-pack of Derby blades from a third party seller on Amazon for £6.85 delivered, I believe it was. Probably last me a lifetime! Not sure how others go through their blades within 2-3 or 5-6 shaves because I've had one blade last me up to 5 to 6 months! Absolute incredible value when you consider how much people spend on the likes of Gillette Fusion Proglide blades (£30+ for only 12 blades in the shops). I do 4 or 5 passes per shave and get an extremely close shave. I think all of these 3, 4 or 5-blade razors are a complete waste of money and just full of marketing claims that they provide the closest and best shave possible. That's my opinion anyway.

I'd avoid Derby blades. While some people do like them they're generally regarded as being pretty horrible and could put you off wet shaving right from the start. Get a sample pack and see what works best for you.

Heat! Ordered - came to £13.12 for me for some reason - maybe because I checked out with Paypal (?) not going to quibble over a few pence this is still a mega great price!

Already use a Merkur 34c for last couple of years and very happy with that one.

Heat added. God damn. What am I doing shopping on HUKD at 1.15am. :))
#31
1% surcharge for PayPal, but what's 13p between friends ;)

awesome deal, wanted one for a while - just got myself a late Christmas present!
#32
looks like a solid razor.
My current one is a bit cheap and flimsy.
This one looks like it bends the blade a bit.
It's that right?
#34

IMHO - don't bother. bought one of these as my first one. used it once and it fell apart. made from cheap materials and the thread inside the handle worn out after unscrewing the head 3-4 times. pay a bit more and get something decent like I did.

I managed to turn a £13 order into £50..

Complete beginner to DE Shaving so I went for
- The razor (mankind)
- 50 derby blades (ebay)
- Stypic Pen (amazon)
- Men-U premier shaving brush and stand (mankind)
- Bulldog Original After Shave Balm (mankind)
- Taylor of Old Bond Street Shaving Cream Sandalwood (mankind)

Am I missing anything/anything I don't need on that list?

Thanks guys

Found a couple of discount codes, although no guarantee they'll work on sale items or if you went through Topcashback.

NEWCUST - 20% off for new customers

VCODE15 - 15% off

Hope that helps someone.
