Merlin Annual Passes are currently reduced. Not as good as previous years - maybe they'll drop further in January but for now the reductions are:

Standard individual - was £169, now £119
Standard family - was £129, now £99
Premium individual - was £209, now £149
Premium family - was £169, now £119
(Bank breaking VIP passes not available until June).

AGAIN - THIS SHOULD BE FREEZING > this is a price INCREASE. Prices were cheaper on the morning of the 26th.
A sale should NOT be an increase in price. Renewal is NOT discounted.

But If you can hold on till June, I would recommend the VIP Passes if you go to the Theme Parks a Lot and dont like waiting

Last Year they were £400 Family £500 Individual

But as they include everything the normal passes do and also FREE UNLIMITED FASTRACK, (Costs £95 a day at Alton Towers), Free Unlimited Drinks, Free Premium Parking (Park right at the entrance Normally £16 a day). All the Merlin Attractions Worldwide, The Waterpark at Alton Towers Free.

Plus you get Vouchers to take 2 people free once a year and they get the Free Fasttrack as well, And 2 Goldent tickets for Free Special Events.

If you visit Alton or Thrope at least 4 times a year these are brilliant, the Fastrack access makes it so easy to have a fun filled day without having to Queue..

We bought them as a family last year, and would never do a theme park without them again..

Not sure why people are voting cold, last time we had them we used them enough to save almost £2000 on days out, I posted this too but you beat me to it by a few seconds. I'll be buying mine in a few days

Good price...

Can you use Nectar Points to pay for these?

Let me get this right, this is a TEN pound saving IF you believe their rubbish.
In reality the Premium family ticket cost £89 each but is now £119 which is NOT a saving. That is an INCREASE of THIRTY pounds!
Renewals no cheaper. Well I won't be purchasing and I hope they break their "2015 cheapest prices" and sort this advertising rip off out.

When was the premium ticket £89? I was hoping to buy some for the kids for xmas but the only discount I saw in December was the standard family pass. I've only been looking on Merlin's site and on this site though. Wish someone had posted the deal.

Ah - sorry, see you were referring to previous years. Yep - I was hoping for £89 to £99 for the premium family pass. As flashyphotos mentioned though, those VIP passes look worth it particularly if you live near an attraction (we're close to Alton Towers and the fast-track would make a huge difference).

Is that right?
£400.00 for a family pass?, and available usually in June?
Not a bad deal

May mean £400 each if a family member? Would have to be a lot more value than listed if correct.

I did wonder if the poster meant £400.00 per person rather than per family.
£400.00 per family would be a cracking deal :)

Merlin have increaed all their prices this morning yet are calling this a sale! If you'd bought a family ticket for 4 this morning at 8am, you'd have saved over £40 on current so called sale prices

Re the VIP pass, £400 pp was the price last time. Merlin increased all their prices by at least 20% today so if they d the same that will make the VIP pass in June, £480pp. You'd need to move into Alton Towers to justify that price!

I paid £99.50 per person for a family of 4 premium passes in January last year. The renewal price is the same as the normal price, i won't be getting them this year I might come back to it next year.
A shame the prices are so high.
Cash back through quidco using sea life seems to still be working.

I'm waiting to hear from Merlin as I was sent a renewal invite the other week, £93.60 premiuim and £83.30 standard. I went to renew today, and the 'SALE' prices are actually more expensive, and my renewal link is now not working, even though it states in my screen grab I had up to 8 weeks after my passes expired to renew at the price, they don't expire for another 10 days! a lot of people are moaning on facebook, so if you are due to renew worth checking with them.

Wow, just read about the change to the renewal prices - that's bang out of order, hope they sort that out and let people renew at the lower price. One of the reasons I was going to get an annual pass was that the renewal price seemed good.

I have just asked them this

I have logged on this morning to renew our marlin premium passes and was expecting to see a good deal seeing you had a sale on but alarmed to see there is no sale and the prices are £26 each more than they were last year, please can you confirm whether the error is the pricing or the use of the word sale.
#30
The premium passes at £119 each this year! I am shocked! - what kind of a sale is this?
Last year I paid £98 each (4x £98= £ 392) and now its 4x £119= £476 a total increase last year of:

£84 INCREASE for 2Adults + 2Children nlast year - but this year I am seriously shocked that they have jacked the price up this much!

There is little or no chance that this price changes if you wait fora few days.... Seriously this is not on~!

Just renewed our premium passes (x3) and paid £93.60 each for family membership mentioning the flickr renewal flyer that has been posted here by chrissy_uk (many thanks as I don't use flickr)

No problems apart from a wait on the phone and them needing to check the price.

Simple as calling them tufty, stating I wanted to renew but take advantage of the pricing from the Flickr flyer, didn't take any effort they just had to verify the pricing which was a few minutes on hold, came back saying that was fine and it was done. Received the email confirmation of payment whilst on the phone.

Will they do new ones at the old price?
