Okay, it's a bit long winded, but Tesco are giving an extra 400 Avios points when you buy 600 points for £2.50 of Tesco vouchers, so you get 1000 Avios points for £2.50 of Tesco vouchers.

For 16,000 Avios points you can get 1 standard Merlin annual pass here:
http://www.avios.com/travel/dayOutInfo.do?lmr_key=LMR_MER

So that's £40 in Tesco vouchers. Hopefully useful to somebody!

Sounds like a cheap way to get a Merlin pass.

Just be aware that the 600 points are added to your Avios account straight away but (for some reason) the extra 400 are added after 28 days

I have loads of BA avios points collected on flights. Are these just for use with BA, or can I use them on avios.com ?

£160 in restaurant vouchers is only worth £80 in reality, as those same restaurants have a permanent BOGOF on main meals..

EDIT: Totally missed my point after that.. Good deal, nice find OP!

There's now one currency - avios....... but different pots - ie avios.com, BA Executive club. The good news is you can move them freely & easily between the two should you want to. So you can shift your points earned by flying into avios.com and buy a theatre ticket, merlin pass etc.
