Merlin Annual Passes are FANTASTIC VALUE whenever you buy them! They can pay for themselves after just three visits to our theme parks.

Great price.

At the moment, though, it seems that you have to go to an attraction to purchase...

Above is the correct link, as Merlin have pulled this from their website. It is only available from attractions directly.

Great deal - we had these two yrs in a row, thinking of re-purchasing as well as i love Alton Towers but very busy and loads of queues especially at Chessington
#2
can you still use your clubcard vouchers to buy this ?
#3
Used ours Alot being just 20mins from legoland. Went to Chessington at least four times and alton towers once as well. Note the £78 is just the std version which we decided against as it precludes legoland before 2pm for the whole of August. You also have to. Pay for parking with the std one. Got the premium ones for just under £96 last march on opening of legoland for 2011.

£129.60 for premium family passes now though :(

I had one last time they were on offer. Never got to use it as it went missing. When decorating took off the fireplace to paper behind it and up it pops, out of date. :(

I see you can upgrade a Standard Pass to a Premium Pass for £35 for the remaining months. Not sure if you can do this at time of purchase of Standard pass or if you need to purchase first, but it effectively means you can get an Individual Premium Pass for £113 (i.e. £78 + £35). Better value than the Family Premium and good if you're not buying as a family.

If you search on facebook there is a page dedicated to this with all the terms and conditions. It doesn't affect the tesco clubcard price. The price is £78 for a standard annual pass or you can pay an extra £30 odd to upgrade for a premium one. Valid since yesterday and you can only buy in person at one of the open attractions, however some closed ones have opened their ticket offices specifically for this.

A year's pass - that's about the length of time you'll need to get on one of the rides
#10
ok so is it possible to buy the clubcard voucher pass @ £48.50 worth of vouchers then upgrade them to premium ?
#11
yeah, we always buy our merlin passes with clubcard vouchers and the very helpful girl at Alton Towers suggested we pay the extra to ugrade to premium so we got free parking each time we visited but pointed out we only needed to do this with one of the passes rather than all 3. We certainly did it last year, but no guarentees they won't have changed this!

Rules have changed to remove the 2pm August restriction at Legoland, but queing everytime for the parking is a pain. (just get one premium pass).

Off to the London Eye again Thursday on our pass.

Yes picked up ours at London Eye; just had leaflets behind desk quoting offer, no posters anywhere else
#20
we have just been to the Scottish Sealife centre in Oban and because they don't have the machine to make the passes they issue gift voucher instead which is a lot better as you not only still get the half price offer but your twelve months doesnt even start on your pass until the next visit to the attraction. 01631720386 is there number if it helps....

Is this offer still on? when does the offer expire
#22
Just wanted to update that yes, this offer is still on! We just got our passes at London Eye today and promptly took a ride. It's so nice knowing we'll be able to do that (and many other things!) as many times as we want over the next year!
#23
OK thanks do you know when the offer will end? I want to try and get one before the end of jan hope the offer will last till then.
#24
The offer was meant to last till the 31st merlin ended it yesterday via there fb page! With no warning! So bad!
My hubby had to leave work early and go to the London eye at 7.45 last night to get our passes!! I wanted to say stiff them but would only upset my kids
They got the money for them off there grandparents for Xmas x
#25

#26

Ironmike2012, have you been honored the Half price offer by complaint?
#30
Hi, just rang London Eye and they said the promotion ended last Monday (23/01/12).

Have emailed them to ask if they will honour the original end date, will see what happens!!

Got a reply from Merlin with a barcode voucher to say they will honour the deal upto 31/01/12.

Just to note that they need to take pictures of all the card holders when buying the card.
