I bought it at weekend, it's lovely and a really nice bottle for a gift

Not as sickly as Baileys, lovely stuff, if a little too easy to drink! A no brainer at this price. Hot hot hot!

£10 seems very expensive compared to Aldis £.429 - especially as Aldi has come top in several taste articles or rewards.

Think its the more expensive Aldi version that scores highly, think its around £6.50

Ive noticed that the cheaper makes are only 14% whereas Baileys is 17% and the more expensive cheaper brands are 17% too. It does pay to know what your drinkng.

this is lush but for welsh drinks I prefer the black mountain brandy bit sweet but goes down a treat esp when you put it in a flask and take it to the football

Merlyn is 17% and uses malted barley spirit rather than wine for the alcohol content which is typical in the cheaper brands.

It's not expensive when compared to its usual price, which is why this is a hot deal at this price. I bought two bottles for the first time last week and its very nice tasting, a little stronger than Baileys. I am giving one of them away as a gift and am happy to do so as the bottle is lovely, I wouldn't be happy to give away the Aldi bottle as it looks cheap. I'm going to get some more while it's still on offer.
