Not the ideal time to be buying sandals unless you, like me, remain in shorts for 11 months of the year, but this is about as low as the price for these has been since 2011, give or take a pound. Really comfortable sandals that really last - I wear mine constantly and buy a new pair every couple of years.

***UPDATED***
Sizes 10-12 are £28 at SportsDirect.com

Definitely not the same as at SD. I bought some at the start of the summer and they lasted about 2 months before the sole split. Then bought some F+F sandals from tesco and the memory foam soles ripped at the toes and heel, hence this purchase! You get what you pay for...

I stand corrected, they are £28 for sizes 10-12 at SD, but £41 for size 9, so still more expensive after postage for my size sports direct

No worries, I was positive I had been them on sports direct

I just checked and Millets with their current 15% are only a few quid more if you want to purchase / collect instore, just another option for some

These are a great pair of Sandals, I bought a pair a couple of years back and used them in various walking holidays. They are comfortable to wear all day and sturdy enough to go trekking up the side of volcanoes.

More high tech than Gore Tex. The breathable membrane they use in these is invisible. :)

Perhaps they just need washing after a few years, the sandals that is ;)

These are great. I paid £60 (yes, really) for a pair about 5 years ago. Used heavily on holiday and during summer and they're still in amazing condition. Very comfortable and solid grip.

Usually I'd spend £8-£12 on 1-2 cheap pairs each year which wouldn't last.

And yes, they do actually look much better when worn (for god's sake, not with socks!)
