Vibram, Goretex etc. Been after some nice looking walking boots because the weather in this country has turned so bad over recent years. I have done some research and this is a good price. RRP £115.

I know that you can get cheaper Hi Tec boots but these look pretty mint to me, ordered.

Free delivery.

Even cheaper than Amazon, the parent company.

No Quidco but can get some **** poor Nectar points?

seems a decent deal for some relatively hard wearing shoes

Hot from me :)

Been wanting to get a pair of Merrell for my trip to America in March which will no doubt involve lots of walking and i wanted something to keep me comfortable all day!

Thanks.

I not long posted a deal for some timberland gore-tex which i had just bought a pair of, but i think these may be a better bet!! I am going to order these aswell and return which ever of the two i don't prefer, thanks OP.

btw the javari website desription states the colour you are buying is black/charcoal and a quick search of the web shows they look more like this

http://www.webtogs.co.uk/pimages/102605/20700/product_main.jpg

so maybe that is more of an accurate picture of what will arrive, though i cant complain because i think that looks better!

I have these and they are worth this price easily. They are fantastic walking shoes, really comfy. Hot from me.
#6
lufc did you have to order a larger size than you normally wear.
#7
Most shoes / boot with Vibram soles are pretty good as VIBRAM dont tend to put their name on c rap footwear..

bit of advice - buy the next size up than your usual size, as merrells tend to be a bit smaller than advertised size (in my experience)

sure people have mentioned this before on here too

Cheers buddy, hope these are good just ordered a pair. Have some stuff from me,lol.

Wish I'd heard this before, just re-ordered in the next size up and now can't cancel the previous order because my item has entered dispatching stage even though it's not due to dispatch for 3 days!

Did something similar with Amazon earlier this month. Just send them an email (contact us) and see if they will cancel the wrong order for you, they did it for me after i contacted them and was at the same stage you are describing.

Yeah thats the route I went down, just wondering when someone will next be in the office to answer my email! Though I can always return for free if both sizes turn up.

Missed that one mate, though have also just seen it mentioned aswel on a review on amazon for this shoe, so suppose I should have done a bit more research before buying tbh!

I tried on what they had in Schuh before, so I know that sizing is on the small side. Takes the guess work out of ordering online when the good deals come along.

Do you reckon a whole size larger will be alright, they didn't have half-sizes available? Could always wear thick socks if not?!

I suspect Goretex might be an absolute godsend in this weather, given its nifty property of allowing moisture to flow through but not liquid. I've spent the past few weeks with my Cat boots, and they've been terrible - really good grip, but when walking through deep snow, it just accumulates on the tops of the shoes, which then melts through, giving me wet and cold feet. These could be a winnar, so hot from me.

I would get a size larger - or you could order both sizes, as I think returns are free if you check out Javari t&c (quidco available too)

I've recently purchased the shoe type, ensure you buy a size up. Dont forget Go Outdoors will price match & reduce by 10%

Exactly what I've done - normally a size 9 so ordered a 9 and a 10. I'll return whichever one doesnt fit. (or both if neither).

Got a pair of Merrells 3 years ago with a Vibram sole and they're still going strong despite wearing them most days. With Goretex this is a great deal.

Sizing wise I normally get shoes in 9 or 9.5, Adidas trainers/Golf shoes in 9.5 and my Merrells are size 10. Hope this helps
#23
Shame nearly all sizes gone. Always get a size up with Merrell's. Good website though
#25
Thanks OP! just bought myself a pair - these own brand millets ones are on their last legs!
#26
absolutely spewing... left my card abroad so was going to order a size 10 tonight when i got home :(
#27
size 8 only lft and down to 2 pairs, gutted
#28
I own three pairs of Merrel shoes, Pivet in a 10, Racer in a 9 and Jungle Moc in a 9 but a 8.5 would have been better next time. I'm a nine in all other brands, New Balance,Nadidas etc.

I don't like the circles on these.
#29
Typical, I have ordered my size and all the stock has gone so I can't get a size bigger.

#32
anyone had theirs delivered yet
#33
Was thinking where mine were as well, should have been here Thursday.
#34
Had an email back off Javari, saying they were sent by Royal Mail and they should arrive within the next year, lol. Seriously tho' they have been sent by RM and should arrive shortly.
#35
Mine were delivered on 31st.

Usually size 9 but have stuck with size 10 as the 9's are a bit "nippit".
#36
Still not got mine yet, starting to worry...

Same here, its a joke. Also had problems with a lot of amazon prime deliveries over the last week, it wouldn't be so bad if they gave a tracking number so u could see where it was being held up.
#38
Mine just arrived...
#39
Not got mine either, next day delivery my arrrrrse! Won't be using these again in a hurry. I won't be in when they do arrive so will have to get them redelivered again. Not happy with you Javari at all.
#40
am still waiting as well also waiting for another pair of merrells that I ordered of the amazon site before xmas and they havent arrived either.
