been holding off cuz i've not really liked a MGS game since MGS 1 on the ps1. then it started getting silly with all the damn cut-scenes.

Fantastic price for a stunning game, after Little Big Planet this was the highest rated exclusive title of the past 12 months and has just won awards for Best Graphics and Best Sountrack at the VGA Game of the Year awards and was nominated for Game of the Year.

Don't buy it if you don't like the cut scenes, that's the glory of MGS and always will be. Unbelievable series.
#12
I don't mind the cut-scenes, as long as they aren't every 5minutes.

for £12 i can't really complain i suppose. If i get a few hours use out of it then its worth the £12.

MGS4 has more cut-scenes than game play, but in terms of graphics it is good for showing off what the ps3 can do. The story was rather convoluted for my taste, but there are some enjoyable levels alongside some tedious dirge. Still, good value at this price.

#19
Was £22.97 in my local store a couple of days back
#20
very good price for an amazing game
some of the cut scenes are really boring but some are absolutely amazing
#21
Until this is confirmed I wouldnt get too excited as it is looking like the shelf edge ticket was wrong.
#22
Work, via Tesco, seems to be the plan
Heat added :)
#23
Still the best game made. Are the cut scenes really that bad a price to pay for this game, after you watch them once you can skip them, One of the best deals this month
#24
ok if i go and its £22....is it worth £22?
#25
look like the price is wrong..
#26
Southport still 22.97. Someone should delete this listing before people waste time and money trying to find what doesn't exist.
#27
i just tried 6 stores in glasgow and none had them i couldnt be bothered trying the other 8
#28
Great game its true about the cut scenes I stopped playing just before the end, guess I will go back and complete it at some point It just got a bit boring and repetetive as good looking as it is.

Shame they used the 20 hours + of hd fmv as a reason for not bringing it to the 360 (its the video that takes up almost 3 quarters of the br storage space NOT the gameplay. Bad mistake it would have sold 10 million copies by now as a mult format title. They are giving it away at this price, definately worth picking up if you dont have it. Still the only exclusive title worth buying a ps3 for at the moment IMO...
#29
Good price if this is confirmed as nationwide - but if this is only the one store fear not, as GAME are selling the pre-owned ones for £15 each :)
#30
Not nationwide as called 2 tesco stores this morning and still at £22.97 :x

Tesco's Great Yarmouth don't have any copies!

They do have Mirrors Edge for Xbox 360 for £19.99 and they are dishing out £5 off £25 spend vouchers.

Really

I thought it stunk. I maybe missing the whole point of this game though as I also know hundreds of people who swear I should like it as much as they do.

I just say to them I like action in my games rather than the hide n seek this seems to be.

It's not available on the PC.

This sounds like a vapourdeal.
