Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection: Limited Edition - Xbox 360 - £34.95 @ Zavvi
Now even cheaper, probably won't last at this price.
PS3 version is £44.95; probably because it is the superior set and more popular. Link here:- http://www.zavvi.com/games/platforms/ps3/metal-gear-solid-hd-collection-ps3-limited-edition-zavvi-exclusive/10532517.html
Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection (Limited Edition) brings you this exclusive and limited edition box set that contains three of the most popular games from the Metal Gear Solid legacy; one of the most important game series of all time, all in perfectly remastered HD quality. These three games are Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, allowing you to experience the games from past to present. An extra special part of this box set is that for the first time ever, Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker is available on a console other than the PSP. Along with these games this limited edition box set includes a collection Steelbook, an exclusive Metal Gear Solid tshirt, and a 250 page book containing the brilliant artwork of Yoji Shinkawa.

Jump to unread Post a CommentThe art book is nice and so is the shirt. The steel book is stickered on but it doesn't bother me too much. This is a great deal as the normal game is around £28 still.
One of the best deals as there have been only 8000 releases oddly enough an its a zavvi exclusive only
There are quite a few reasons:-
- It has a proper, printed steelbook case as opposed to the 360 version which has two stickers slapped onto a plain steelbook case.
- MGS2 and MGS3 both have 25 extra trophies to collect offering greater replay value for people who enjoy collecting those kinds of things.
- The games are all on one disc, eliminating the need to switch discs.
- The controls are more familiar and comfortable on the PS3 controller due to the 360 pad lacking pressure sensitive face buttons. For example, you have to click the left stick to aim on the 360 whilst the PS3 version keeps its original control scheme from the PS2 versions.
- Game data can be transferred to both the PSP and PS Vita. Once the MGS HD collection launches on the Vita you can transfer game data back and forth and continue where you left off.

Spoken like a true fanboy, asides from the case questions, which are only a problem if you have OCD and have to have them looking nice on your shelf or whatever, the rest of your argument is rubbish.
Trophies/Achievements should never be taken into consideration when buying a game, if you really do care about meaningless medals then you really do need to evaluate your life.
Unless you are gonna shell out more money for the same games again, why does it matter about Vita connectivity?
its free from most torrent sites
Also, for those after making a quick buck (not me - I traded in my standard copy not long ago, with the intention of getting this one), it'll get you £46 cash or £49 trade in CEX.
Heat added.
