Cheapest direct price I have (personally) seen yet for a stellar game.

Steam activation.

Ermmm. Anything else I have forgotten?

Blurb:

*World-renowned Kojima Productions showcases another masterpiece in the Metal Gear Solid franchise with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is the first segment of the ‘Metal Gear Solid V Experience’ and prologue to the larger second segment, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain launching thereafter.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes gives core fans the opportunity to get a taste of the world-class production’s unparalleled visual presentation and gameplay before the release of the main game. It also provides an opportunity for gamers who have never played a Kojima Productions game, and veterans alike, to gain familiarity with the radical new game design and unparalleled style of presentation.

The critically acclaimed Metal Gear Solid franchise has entertained fans for decades and revolutionized the gaming industry. Kojima Productions once again raises the bar with the FOX Engine offering incredible graphic fidelity and the introduction of open world game design in the Metal Gear Solid universe. This is the experience that core gamers have been waiting for.*

I was going to get this, but it looks like it is more of a demo ...

You can apparently finish it in 20 mins ... but it is a sandbox type level so you can take as long as you like and try different things ...

You are not wrong, it is very flexible in how you wish to play and lost to explore in terms how missions and achievements.
I think it has both the side missions of the consoles, De Ja Vu and the other one where you play as Raiden (I think its mainly a skin though).
A good introduction to the main game coming in June and sure to have bonus features from having both titles.

That said it will only get cheaper with age :D

The amount of misinformation about this game by people that felt disappointed is incredibly frustrating.

There is:
1 Main Mission - Takes an hour to complete on your 1st playthrough
6 Side Missions - All of which need to be unlocked

They play as separate levels in the same area with different objectives in each which approach the stage in very different ways.
There are weapons, difficulties and easter eggs to be unlocked.

£11 on release from Steam is a perfectly reasonable price for the content available.

I don't know why people were expecting a 6 hour linear experience when there is plenty of information out there about GZ.
It's not Konami's fault that you had expectations which they never intended on meeting.

Sorry, which part of my post said that I was "expecting a 6 hour linear experience " ... I posted so that people who hadn't trawled the internet for info would know that what they were buying was more a demo than a full blown game (which will come next June'ish)

If you feel the need to have a rant over someone giving the above info, then heaven help you if something important actually happens in your life!

If you had just stuck to the facts, and provided the info about time to complete the mission and the side-quests it would of had far more value ... (constructive criticism) ... not a rant!
