I submitted this kit about a month ago and expired it because the price increased making it expensive. I noticed the price has fallen to £3.95 making this kit attractive again. Dropped by another £1 now!!

My H4 headlight bulb has just blown and so this is perfect. Thanks to the OP.

Both in poundland and in 99p stores.

Amazon price now £5.99 + £1.44 postage.

Expired

Had bad experiences with the bulb kits from the pound shops. The headlight bulbs last about 1 month of winter driving before blowing - and when removed the glass capsule was warped and bent... Never experienced this with branded bulbs.

Couldn't agree more with this comment.

I've used two bulbs from these packs in the past, one through choice the other through necessity, and they were both awful. I'd say the month that yours lasted was about correct for both!

Don't be a penny pincher when it comes to your lights and spend some money on getting a decent set, you don't have to go over the top, I usually go for one of the brand names around the £15 mark. I can't remember the last time I changed the lights on my car.

Other than that I usually pick up some of the other bulbs for the car when I'm at the garage to have spare in case of a blown bulb.

#14
Same, poundland ones don't last, fingers crossed on these...

great deal.

A big thank you to the OP for this. Have had to use the H7 bulb and 10amp fuse already, so well worth the money. So good, I ordered another one.

Just ordered one to go with the 2 warning triangles i got for £3 each fromAmazon last week. Almost set for EU driving now!

Good deal. The legislation that requires you to carry these is flawed though because it assumes the average driver can change the bulbs. A lot of modern cars require you to dismantle half the front of the car to change a headlamp bulb for example. Not really practical on the open road. I seem to remember Fifth Gear did an item on this and even the AA expert struggled on a Megane.
