Best current preorder price including delivery, and no codes required! Thus is how remasters should be priced.

Metro Redux is the ultimate double game collection, including the definitive versions of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, each rebuilt in the latest and greatest iteration of the 4A Engine for next-gen consoles and PC.
For the first time, console owners can expect smooth 60FPS gameplay and state of the art visuals that were once only available on high-end PC hardware.
Newcomers to the series will get the chance to experience two of the finest story-driven shooters of all time in one vast package; an epic adventure combining gripping survival horror, exploration and tactical combat and stealth.
Fans of the original games will find the unique world of Metro transformed with incredible new lighting, physics and dynamic weather effects, as well as a host of gameplay improvements and new features.
All the enhancements from the acclaimed sequel ‘Metro: Last Light’ have been transferred to Metro 2033 Redux – superior AI, controls, animation, weapon handling and many more. And both campaigns benefit from all-new melee animations, the ability to check your watch and ammo supplies on the fly, and new full-body player animations.
Those who favoured the more survival-horror oriented gameplay of ‘Metro 2033’ can play both campaigns in the ‘Survival’ Play-Style, a fraught, slow burn fight for survival. Those who enjoyed the more action-oriented gameplay of ‘Metro: Last Light’ can try the ‘Spartan’ Play-Style, providing Artyom with a powerful set of combat skills.
With the legendary Ranger Mode included to offer an extra layer of challenge and immersion, and all previous released DLC, Metro Redux offers 50+ hours of AAA FPS gameplay for an incredible price.

I think old games made to look nicer on ps4/xbox one should be cheaper than a new release.

Thanks for your contribution.

Good price, I pre-ordered for about the same from 365 games but this is a better deal as Base don't charge until dispatch.

hey peeps ,

some advice please if you don't mind, i cant decide, this , destiny or alien isolation which do you think would be better value, i don't worry about multiplayer as its not for me and cant stand campers and cheaters and i don't have the time to be sitting down days weeks and months trying to get into the game and ranking up etc .

is the story interesting and has a got good horror elements ?

cheers

If you prefer story driven games then this would be much better value for you. Two story driven games. Destiny will have a huge element of multiplayer and aliens games have not been great of late. Metro will also be a lot cheaper than the other two.

I'm gonna pick this up myself once I finish wolfenstein and watchdogs as I never played them on ps3.

If you played the originals you wouldn't be worried. This is a great price for two great games.

If you haven't played either games it's a pretty great deal. The RRP is £30 anyway which is the absolute maximum these remasters should be (cough*cough*TLOU*cough*cough) & it's really nothing to be worried about!

A little info on the games;

If you're a graphics wh0re these games are a must as graphically they are beautiful. There's however absolutely no multiplayer in either games & no collectibles for replayability. Although they do have the new DLC modes included which forces you to play with a different playstyle - Either stealth or guns blazing so you could get 4 playthroughs if you can be bothered.

Both games are quite story driven however, both games are very short (5 hours?). The story element is OK, a lot of people like to talk it up & say it's a great story. It's really not great. I suppose for a game it's slightly above mediocre. It does use a lot of gameplay elements that make it quite different to other games though so will give you quite a fresh experience from other FPS games if you haven't played this before.

Both games are part of those kind of games where you always feel like it could of been a masterpiece but it just feels like there is something missing at all times. It's worth the money though & it does bring some fresh elements to make it a little different to your standard FPS.

Two of my favourite games from last gen, very different pace and tone to any other shooter out there. You are WAY off about the length though, unless you charge through on easy you wont get anywhere near to finishing in 5 hours. I played both in hard and they took me 10-20 hours each. Play in the ranger mode and its even longer.

If you havent played these games I would recommend them 100%, especially at this price.

The first game especially is really short, fair enough I played it on medium & don't have the DLC so only played it through once. But I am notoriously really slow at playing games - I like to always go the wrong way on purpose so that I can find secrets etc so generally when a game comes out saying it's got 15 hours of content it will generally take me twice that long to complete but the first game took me 4 hours / 5 hours maximum.

Voucher code worked so I've ordered it for £25.74 from Gameseek despite having both games on PC. With the added DLC & the extra tuning of the second game brought into the first game I suppose it's still worth it. I'll give them another playthrough.

Thanks. Got it for £25.74.

I've had Metro on the pc for ages, but keep postponing playing for console games, so this will get me playing it faster.

very disappointed in this game. the look sensitivity is way to slow even at max i still wished it could be 5x faster. if you play with high sensitivity in FPS this game isn't for you..The max sensitivity in this game is like 2 in CoD.. i hope they fix it .
