Great price, although personally I was really disappointed by the album; kids and waiting to pretend are ace, but the rest is completely different imho.

Eh!?! Waiting to pretend!? Think you need to give it a second listen. Electric Feel is a top tune.

I agree, this was over hyped and doesn't live up to expectations - however for £2.99 i'll be buying it to add to my collection!

Dont understand why someone would want to buy an over-hyped and "doesnt live up to expectations" cd just to put on their shelf. Is that what music is about to you?

You really do not have a clue, do you? Bet you've got Celine Dion on that "3 or 4 good tracks" cd tower.

I'm not gonna get sucked into your trolling, but as a final response on this matter, I have c4500 CDs across a wide range of music, predominantly electro and indie.

Quite simply, apart from a handful of tracks, MGMT do not float my boat. I do like Empire of the Sun, Metronomy, and loads more similar bands to MGMT, but for me the rest of their album is a bit bland. There's better stuff out there, however I concede that some of their tracks are OK (Kids, Electric Feel, Time To Pretend). and are worth my hard earned cash. As a record/cd collector I passionately hate MP3s, so would not just d/l the tracks I want.

Christ... 'it puts the lotion on its skin' kinda music....
#13
If it's not these guys then what is the band that stomps around in Elton John looking neon Incan outfits in all their videos?
#14
Empire of the Sun, that's it. At least they're not as bad as those plonkers.
