Been eyeing this up for my eldest...now it is half price I can't leave it on the shelf can I?

:) Excellent spot, heat added!

Mattresses on these will probably be OK at best for kids. Personally I would buy the frame and then look for a good deal on a decent pocket sprung mattress if for an older child or a decent open coil mattress for a younger child. Will cost slightly more but will last better overall and give more support to your child's growing body.

Also as reviews say, Argos self build stuff is a nightmare to put together compared to say Ikea so be prepared.

Saying all that still a good price

I got a argos cabin bed last year, took advantage of a half price deal, the quality it bad, the holes for the screws did not match up, the edge that goes round the matteress was warped and was murder to get on, one piece of wood at the bottom snapped within a week beacuse it was not supported, i dearnt move her bed now incase it falls apart...id avoid...its a good price but a good price for shoddy stuff is a waste....plus they delivered it at 6.45 in the morn..was not too impressed with the whole thing
Wish i hadnt skimped now

Does anyone know if this is reversible? the pics show it tucked into a left corner, but 'I need it to go into a right handed corner, There appears be just one cut out on the bed, and can the wardrobe go at either end?. Also does it have a seperate ladder?
Thx x

Oh I had a bed similar, argos style few years back. I hated it, mainly because it was soo uncofrtable and they didn't sell nice matteresses which would fit :(
