Watch the video for the first single, "Hold My Hand" feat. Akon here: http://holdmyhand.michaeljackson.com/UK/

It is a great album & will only serve to extend his legacy. I particularly like tracks 02 Hollywood Tonight & 05 Monster (Feat. 50 Cent).

Now if it had really been MJ on the tracks... I would still have voted this cold! Lost it big time after Thriller. And, well, you can't fool all the people all the time.

Lost it big time after Thriller? Are you ignorant or just delirious?

Let me list the #1 hits he released post 1984:

We Are The World
Smooth Criminal
Man In The Mirror
I Just Can't Stop Loving You
Bad
Dirty Diana
The Way You Make Me Feel
Black or White
Will You Be There
You Are Not Alone (First song to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US)
Earth Song (#1 for 7 weeks here in the UK, X-Mas #1 in 1995)
Scream

Please also consider the fact that EVERY single solo album he has ever released achieved #1 position here in the UK.

You also might like to know that if this new album reaches #1, that Michael Jackson will be the ONLY artist ever to have had a #1 album in each of FIVE consecutive decades.

Give the guy the credit he deserves.

Your argument is INVALID.

Oh don't get him started...oh F&^^, his reply is already there.

Surefire_MJ does have a valid argument, the sod had me up late last night going over the latest album and comparing it with previous albums then I got on to mixing up some acappello and comparing tune after tune. Then on to Janet after getting to Scream. The new album is def worth listening to, I guess it's a new style of music for a new era.

Shame the royalties will hit the legal teams and sony first.

Thanks.

As for the money going to legal teams/Sony, bear in mind that the Jackson Estate (his kids) got $250 million from Sony for the rights to 10 projects, so they have already benefited too.

Michael Jackson said in his 2002 will that he wants 20% of any revenue to be given to the charities of his children's choice. Thats a tidy sum considering the $280 million "This Is It" grossed along with the money the Estate got from Sony (another $250 million).

Also, Michael Jackson died owning a 50% stake in the Sony ATV Beatles catalogue (currently valued at over $4 billion US dollars). He was by no means broke, just cash poor & asset rich.
