I was looking at these in all the jewellers in town the other day where it was about £220. Online the cheapest I could find it was around £150.

it's just a generic Chinese watch that has MICHAEL KORS printed on it and the warranty excludes every part likely to fail.

These watches are made by Fossil a very reputable fashion brand, and the same people behind Armani and many other well know brand watches. Although they are made in china they do have a 2-year warranty covering any manufacturer fault, having sold these watches for at least 2 years myself they are no worse than any other none swiss made brand. I have never had any issue when a fault occurs in getting these watches repaired or replaced FOC. The one important thing to note is that you must get your guarantee book stamped, and by an authorised dealer, otherwise it's not worth the paper its written on. Seems a fair deal if this is the case, heat added.

I think the discussion is more about whether it would be a genuine watch from MK.

it reminds me of the backstreet of Dubai/Turkey/Singapore - where you could get very similar replica with the brand names on it - some as good as the original itself. Now I have seen many MK's, Fossil's and Armani's and sometimes, its difficult to differentiate the good from the fake ones.

Also, lines like -
from Gray Kingdom
- does ring some bells.

I guess I'll have to see when it turns up.

Wowcher paid for with paypal and the extra 6.99 on the website was paid by credit card, so if it turns out to be a fake I'm double covered.

But looking around it is out of stock in the Watchshop, is only being sold by 1 marketplace seller on Amazon and is not listed for sale on the Michael Kors website so I would guess it is an old model and hence the low price.

Plenty of information available about spotting fakes.

I email them last Friday as I had not received a dispatch notification and they replied on Sunday saying that they had been closed for Christmas/ New year and would be back open again on the Monday.

Received a dispatch email on Monday and the watch arrived the following day.

Just arrived and looks very real to me, passes all the checks on the various sites I found online.

Would definitely recommend people consider them in future.
