Don't think it inc p+p
#3
£4.99 delivery.
#4
Does NOT include P&P which I think is £4.99 BUT you cannot order just one item as the site has a minimum spend, if you try to buy it, it says you need to spend another £10, plus I believe famous for not having the original item, but you still get the junk you made up the order with.
#5
So works out alot more than £5.99
#6
Wish i voted cold now....

used them many times and had everything ive ordered , minimun order is £10 if you dont have a voucher code, if you do its usually £15

If they dont have the item (which I've experienced on a couple of occasions) they send a replacement item instead, which is usually similar if you're almost blind but not the thing you ordered and on the receipt. E.g. Ordered a KVM switch (Dont ask, just Google it) and they sent a 4 port usb switch instead. They didnt tell me and I happened to notice it so emailed them. They appologised and said I could keep the original item for free and refunded within days the cost of the item too. Not a bad outcome really!

Sneaky thing is, a few days later the item I'd been told had sold out so could only refund me, appeared again on the site but at 4 times the price! Was going to email them and then get them to send it but settled on the refund and freebie instead.

Other than the £15 min spend & £5 delivery, I cant fault them really though. Usually deliver in a few days, unfortunately they use Sh*ty link (sorry, Citylink) and they seem to not be bothered to deliver, then on the online tracking say they tried but no answer, and a sarcastic customer service woman says the driver tried a white door but we werent in. Considering most houses seem to have white UPVC nowadays, thats probably not a bad guess. Not Bigoffers fault though!

I digress!

It looks like the plugs are individually switched - can anyone confirm this?

I can indeed confirm that it looks like they are individually switched
#11
voted cold purely because the price is a lie... it's not £5.99 as it doesnt include p&p
#12
shame the OP didn't mention P&P anywhere in the deal ... otherwise I would have voted hot :whistling:
#13
As above really. The failure to mention minimum spend and P&P is a deal breaker.
#14
Sorry cold, Agree with the coments above about postage, min spend etc.

One on ebay for £15.99 says 8 individually switched sockets
#16
Can anyone let me know if postage to Northern Ireland is the same charge? Dont want to set up an account to find out but cant see it on their site! :?

As I said before in some other threads strange site.

I tried for ages to find an individually switched surge protected mains extension lead that wasn't totally rubbish, so this find is very appreciated.
Had to get some pens and boxing bag mitts to get the price up.
Cheers!

Over 100 degrees for an epic failure of a "deal".
#21
this shouldn't have been posted at this price - period ;-)
#22
Sorry i didn't add about the postage. I've never actually purchased anything from them/
#23
Voted cold as I'm going to have to spend around £15 total to get it!
#24
Do we actually get surge damage in the UK? It's not Romania, our mains is very clean.

I've been using the adapter for a few days now and I am very pleased the OP took the trouble to post the deal - very difficult to find quality individually switched surge protected adapters like this.
It has already protected my laptop - had a too-many-things-on mains power failure at the weekend, so there probably was a spike.
The boxing bag mitts I got are probably even better value than the deal - won't have to share sweaty gloves at the gym any more.
The filler Papermate pens not so good - had to run a pen refill under a hot tap and then press down hard for ages to get them working.
And the staple-less stapler - I have managed to make it work once in about 20 attempts.
