I have 2 of these, they are ok but your price of £1.49 is expensive I got mine on ebay for £0.99 delivered. At your price I can buy 2 and get 1 free :P

Still have these knocking about in the Pound Shop mate, picked up 4 a few weeks ago :-)

I bought one from amazon as well. Its a great find for my laptop and u can bearly see it. As I had no poundworld near where i live I just thought of getting this.

Only prob is I cannot send stuff from my Nokia N95 to the laptop. Works other way though.

I'm going to buy mine off fleabay and with the money saved I'll have a night on the town and still have enough left over for a fish supper...
;)

This is a good price for a UK sourced BT dongle. You can get one on eBay for 99p .... if you are OK having it delivered from Hong Kong or China. UK dongles from eBay are pretty much identical in price, so buying through Amazon is ideal for those who have not registered on eBay or prefer Amazon.

Have the DxExtreme version which is great. I understand this item here, does not support the majority of Win7 laptops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Assuming you have the laptop paired with your mobile, try on the bluetooth icon right click and "Receive a file" and it should work. I had same problem ;)

I have a couple of these, very handy, think I also got them from the pound shop!

LOL.. how pathetic, cancel me out abit!!

its not a hot deal by any means, these are like 99p on ebay in the UK! cold cold cold.

I ordered one last week and it is very temperamental. Fiddled about for an hour and only succeeded in sending two files. It kept losing paired devices.
#19
mine works on Win7 fine. I got mine from the UK - paid around £3 coz I didn't want to wait for 2 weeks for DX sourced ones but they're just fine too.

For £1.49 delivered this is HOT!

have you complained? I've used mine on 3 machines (different OS) --- they might just send you a new one if you tell them this doesn't work ok.

well imo its pathetic to think that 1-2 weeks faster delivery isn't worth 50p.
its not a hot deal but then its not a cold deal, cancelling out makes it overall neutral ie lukewarm which it is.
hot hot hot people incase other people think 2-3week wait is worth 50p!
#22
agree with #21, ordered 3. I'd rather have them delivered within a few days than 2 weeks from HK
#23
Ordered 2.
Given heat. At that price can not go wrong.

Cheap...but cheaper if you wait for DX. So voted cold. Cus I'd just wait..? I've got two from DX and they're a good buy.

$1.80 DX

I bought two of these yesterday after seeing the deal listed here.

I am surprised that there are so many people saying it is cold, but I guess it depends on how fast you want the item - if 50p is worth getting the item a couple of weeks faster than eBay/DX, and you can't be bothered to trawl the high street for a Poundland/Poundworld/Poundshop that has them in stock then I think it is very good.

Quite interesting that exactly the same item is being sold on 7dayshop's website for £2.79!

I have Win7 64x, I cannot connect my bluetooth headset, any help? Managed to connect my nokia phone, but sth loses connection, wouldn't recommend

If you want a REALLY small BT dongle then I bought an Atomic Pico. It was £8 which I know is expensive for this type of thing, but it sits almost flush with the usb port so there's no chance of it being accidentally damaged. Compatible with all versions of Win too, worked out of the box for me. Search for 'Pico Bluetooth' on ebay. I think it's also known as a BeeWi Nano.
#34
Its so tinyyyyy

Has anyone had any problems running one of these on a 64bit Windows 7 PC?

Most of these devices (especially on eBay) only seem to mention Vista.

Yes I have one on it, they dont all work on win7 or vista, depends of the bluetooth chipset, it install using windows generic bluetooth driver. mine works ok though.
