they're based in China (or Hong Kong.. can't remember. Not that it makes much difference)

used them before as have many on this forum. Only downside i have experienced was slow delivery but that's not even really a valid complaint as all delivery from that part of the world takes 7-21 days..

Started my day off with a laugh, bravo X)

They had a similar thing with a "free" hardback for an iPhone which never materialised. My current order is 3 weeks and no product yet ( a bluetooth mouse). Its a Chinese/Hong Kong outfit and stuff is taking a hideously long time from there to the UK right now. This includes oreders from othere companies based over there. Anything ordered now most likely wont arrive till after Christmas. However usually it is about a 2 week arrival of product.

Ordered, cheers. Never had a problem with Focalprice, sure the orders take a while to get to Europe but they get here eventually.

fp always have a long delivery though latey it's worse than usual.

just a heads up, i had one of these and needed to get the microsd card out which simply snapped, so don't use these for anything important!!

For me was https and green and I use Firefox browser.
For ppl worring about card details: payment is made by PayPal and only PayPal have Yours card or bank details. If You dont trust PayPal You can forget about online shoping.

You can trust Paypal and still get ripped off, e.g. someone stealing your details when you make a payment. The caution expressed by mick50 is valid. Always make sure that you deal with a genuine Paypal site when you type in your details.

Focal Point doesn't look secure to me. No matter what other's say, it's not worth the risk. I wonder why they give away those readers. Is it just to get your account/email details?

Also your emails will get flooded with spam, including your Paypal email, so make sure you use a disposable email address for your order.

millions of people use focalprice, same as dealextreme

I think the china/HK based companies like to fill a shipping container with europe bound orders before the despatch.

Makes sense to me.
#39
Simple way to get people to volunteer their credit card details, like getting mugged but without the smack in the face....nice.

Probably just used to artificially inflated the websites popularity so they can sell it as a going concern.

Can you get quidco?
