This looks rather nice. Getting a laptop with Bluetooth so this looks like it will go nicely with it. Cheers!
#3
Would this work with the £99, Dell Inspiron Mini 9 netbooks running Ubuntu?
#4
Would this wotk with a bluetooth dongle? Or must the bluetooth be inbuilt?

Yip, you just add it as a paired device.:gift:

Typical notebook mice are only 800 dpi and the 1000 dpi.

Good find =).
#7
Any chance of this running OK on Ubuntu 8.10?
#8
So does this give a good 10m range? I'm looking for a mouse that does more than about a metre or two.

Thanks!

Great find

It looks possible, although it may require a bit of configuring via the Terminal.

I run Ubuntu 8.10 from an SDHC card in my netbook and use a Logitech V470 bluetooth mouse. It works perfectly ok with the inbuilt bluetooth. I have also used the mouse with a bluetooth dongle on my desktop.

The problem with Ubuntu is that you have to delete the mouse entry in your bluetooth menu and pair from new every time you suspend/restart your notebook, as it does not seem able to detect your mouse again otherwise. I am looking to see if there is a fix that lets Ubuntu remember your bluetooth settings and pair automatically.

'Otted. £29.99 for this in Currys this morning.

Does anyone know if this will work wireless on a PS3
#23
Sorry to add to the questions, but doesn anybody know if the scroll wheel in this mouse supports horizontal scrolling? I currently have the Microsoft Wireless Optical Notebook Mouse 4000, and horizontal scrolling is a godsend.

I've checked loads of reviews of this online, and can't find any mention of horizontal scrolling.
#24
I paid slightly more than this a few months back, good mouse but lacks software support from Microsoft.

Works great though, very small - the colour may vary... :).

the price difference is only £3.50. yesterday was supposed to be a mad monday sale, so it's not outwith the possibilities that it was a geniune reduction. they also had a 16gig usb stick reduced to £13.50 from about £17, but the price has went up and down a bit recently

play do seem to be getting some things at really cheap prices these days, like shure and other headphones at £18 instead of £50+ quid. i wonder how they do it

Marking prices up in the first place. And lower overheads but main way is mark up.

Yeah, back up to £24.99 the mouse now, so may have been a one day thing. Hopefully stock will be coming fairly soon :-)
#32
