Amazing deal, shame you need an uber spec PC for the game to run at a half decent level.

Voted hot though cause that price is well cheap

voted hot - but really if you want to play this game - buy the Deluxe version - the standard version is very much the poor mans version with quite a bit cut-out of it (aircraft, certain high-res cities, ATC contro mode etc)

FSX is great - I bought the Southern UK VFR Scenery too - check this screenie out :)

It's very intensive on memory so if you haven't got a highly capable graphics card you may as well forget it. The screenshot from Buckster is very nice but the aircraft (an RAF Tornado) is also an add-on as well as the scenery which he has said is an optional extra to buy. IMO, to do it justice you would also need a joystick, preferably a force-feedback variety.

The price is good, but you would need to spend more to get the full show.

I've got an E6600, 2GB of Ram and a Ati X1900XT....and...well it runs fine on max.

Vista does help too:thumbsup:

thats a old graphic's card really even the 8800 cards struggle badly, when i mean run well i mean at 1280 x1024 all maxed and at least 40 to 60fps, there is no pc that can do that at the moment fact :) some people are happy with like 15 to 20fps not me ;)

Nice screen shot!
Voted hot as the price is good, but I am looking at getting Deluxe version.
My PC will run like a slug getting through a spillage of glue!

Yeah, that should make it run good.
Looking at the forums you can have two identical machines and yet they run like chalk and cheese.
SP1 aparently addresses a few performance issues.

HOLY SMOKES! I nearly bought it just yesterday afternoon:w00t:
Have they released the multicore patch yet?

Anyone who got this at a higher price: get the difference refunded.
Anyone who hasn't got this yet and is not in a hurry: wait for the deluxe version to go down in price! ;-)
