"Experience legendary responsiveness, tracking, and comfort in the optical mouse preferred by professional gamers. Improved mouse feet for ultra-slick gliding."

This is a great mouse. I bought mine just over a year ago for around £25 and I love it!

I was thinking the same. I did a search before to make sure I wasn't double posting.

Err, this is a wired optical mouse.......probably the last good (and best) mouse that microsoft ever made (i exclude their colaberations with Razer). In it's day it was by far the best mouse on the market, and I think you'll find that the shape and design has been mimicked ever since.

However, whilst this is a good price for this particular mouse, I would say there are better cheaper alternatives available now - either of the Gigabyte mice at Play.com being 2 prime examples, or th Saitek 3200 from cddiscount are all better.

Please don't make it out that I can't do it properly. The title states as "in store".

To everyone thats on the ops back ... he says instore.

These are good mice, I had the silver version and I got it when it was released and it only got replaced mid last year, about 8 or 9 years of wear and I use my PC everyday and sometimes for literally days at a time ie 48hrs+ on AOK when it was popular and then the CnC games and now entropia + surfing.

Might even repair it for one of my other PCs cus it only needs the wire redone where it meets the mouse. Got the MS sidewinder one with interchangable weights and feet now and the middle button has gone already.

Thats how good a mouse it is, unless I was just lucky and got some mad prototype, doubtfull though.

On another note I could kill someone at MS for not keeping the drivers updated for the sidewinder gamevoice and strategic commander.

Another vote for the MS Intellimouse, reliable and great to use!

A good mouse at a good price, but a couple of caveats:

1. The feet aren't great, they build up dirt around the edges and can come unstuck.

2. Compared to Microsoft's other gaming mice like the Intellimouse Explorer 1/1.1 and Sidewinder this is a small mouse.

3. It's 400dpi, so if you prefer a fast mouse-pointer then this isn't for you.
