Was about to post this myself... I think this is the best value WP, or indeed, any low end phone out there right now.
Front and rear cameras, with flash, 1gb RAM, sd card slot, also comes with the new lumia denim update... Main camera is even autofocus...

Fantastic value phone for £100.

he/she is confused and bought a 530 which is way way way inferior to the 535

I see the Windows haters are in... Getting voted down without comment..
Bearing in mind this is the cheapest this phone can currently be bought for...
#7
Seriously tempted. On look out for a low to mid range phone. Any ideas on reputation of seller?

Now on Amazon at £105.16 with pre order price guarantee, but not in stock until 14th Jan. Were they in stock I'd say worth paying the extra fiver or so for the returns policy (and could go cheaper).

I got the the 530 for £14.99 :P

got one from amazon.fr before xmas for £86. My first smart phone and I really like . Battery seems to go quite quickly but that could be through too much use. The back was a little fiddly to remove and it feels like cheaper plastic compared to the 520 I bought at the same time but it doesn't really matter. I can't really fault it for a sub £100 phone.

Terrible phone! Very unresponsive screen, even after an update.
Does my head in daily trying to type on it!
Also trying to scroll on it is a pain as it keeps opening programs instead of scrolling the screen up and down
If you do insist on buying one Go to settings> ease of access> and turn Screen Magnifier OFF, wont fix it but might stop you throwing it out of the window for 5mins at least

I had an iPhone for 3 years, most recently an android for 1 year, my wife has a windows phone. I have no particular affiliation, but windows is a far superior phone os in every way.

You actually own the 535?! (This has only just been released in this country....so I'm thinking you probably have this confused with the cheap piece of tat which is the 530).

I can vouch for the screen issue as got one for my mum from amazon.fr. The buying experience and delivery was fine and quick btw :). However when you try to text, it will sometimes just type random characters you weren't even touching. i.e you can be holding the backspace key, and it will just type what it wants. Apparently Microsoft know about the issue, but a fix hasn't been released yet. Otherwise the phone is really good for 90 odd quid.

No, you're talking about a different phone not the 535 as you can't possibly have this phone yet, or do you work for one of the Telcos?

Turn off super sensitive touch (designed for use with gloves). My nan had this problem with her 520. Switching it off solved the 'problem' completely :)

*Edit...just read the CNET review. It would seem MS have stuck in a pretty average screen with average touch response. So I guess that's one of the trade offs for the price. A shame.

Nokia still make very high quality handsets. I really want windows phone to do well and they are certainly heading in the right direction.

This isn't a Nokia. The last Nokia phone to be branded Nokia was the Lumia 830. This is a Microsoft Lumia and that's how all new Lumias are now branded.

There are plenty of us who have used all the smartphone OS's and that now use Windows Phone out of choice.
So just stick with your Moto G threads and leave us in peace ;)

I like the look of Windows phone OS looks much more modern than iOS (Not really changed since launch) but I haven't used one for long enough to find out if it's really as good as it looks. I think one the app store gets a bit better stocked that these will become very popular. What's the current "Flagship" Windows phone?

Is Lumia 535 better than 635. Why they are more expensive ??
Any explanation will be greatly appreciated ....

Yes it is. Nokia (or what's left of them) manufacture the phone, it's just no longer branded as such.
