Plug in the compact receiver when you're ready to work, then snap it into your mouse when you travel, saving hassle and battery life. Easily enlarge and edit details with the new Magnifier and scroll four ways with the innovative 4-Way Scrolling.

Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 4000 | Mouse | RF | USB wireless receiver | Optical | Buttons Qty 4 | Movement Resolution 1000 dpi | Scrolling wheel, High Definition Optical Technology | Battery: 1 x AA type

Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition, Apple MacOS X 10.2 - 10.3 | Package Type OEM

Cheapest I've found this by far, FREE shipping too (I purchased as a business user, I don't know if it will be any more/less as a home user). £24.99 on Play.com for a retail-boxed version - OEM is similar to a trade no-frills version (same product though).

This is a great mouse and you will benefit from it to no end.

This is a fantastic mouse, in fact, its the one I'm using right now :)
I paid £20 for it in Tesco 4 months ago or so, and thought I had a bargain then. It only runs on 1 AA battery and I haven't had to change it yet. I think on the box it gives the battery life as 6 months which is brilliant, as I've used wireless mice which need new batteries every couple of weeks!

I would guess so, one reviewer said "Very compact so takes a bit of getting used".

anyone in northern ireland ever tried to order from lowestonweb ?
If so what do they charge for delivery to N Ireland.
Its not in their FAQ and I'm not inclined to create *another* account to find its something silly like a 20 pound surcharge.

Are there any discount codes?

I can't seem to add it to the basket

The error:

Response object error 'ASP 0158 : 80004005'

Missing URL

/basket/basketmod.asp, line 117

A URL is required.

Appears on a blank webpage

Does anyone else have this problem or know what it means?

I ordered this as a home user for the same price. Thanks to OP.

It's fairly decent sized, about 10cm by 5cm wide to give you some sort of idea. Its not one of those reeeeaally tiny notebook mice, just nice & compact. The receiver fits nicely in the base of the mouse when you're travelling as well.

Gone for one to replace my Intellimouse Pro 4 for the laptop, which I can now relegate back to my desktop.

I like the way that the wireless dongle slips into the base of the mouse when carrying it around!

Anyone know how weighty the mouse is?

Great deal - ordered one on Sunday and it arrived this morning. Plug and play on my Dell laptop with no problems and when the wireless dongle is clipped into the base it turns the mouse off. It weighs about 100 gms and my Quidco was declined aswell.

Just bagged one myself, didn't realise it was free delivery so even better! Most other places selling them around the £24.99 mark. Voted Hot and Rep left :)

Just got an email back from customer services...asked them if it had been despatched yet as I ordered on the 16th...

"Dear Sir,

Thank you for your email. Your order is about to be invoiced from head office.
We will send you a txt message when your order is actually invoiced. This
message will indicate that delivery will be the next working day. Please email
[email protected][email protected]ype=x" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">[email protected] with any further questions."

So guess thats a roundabout way of saying no then!

What a gr8 piece of kit for a tad over £13, so impressed I ordered another.

Not that I needed one, but as a bonus I saw it on the shelf in my local Tesco's tonight priced at £34.97...take away the hard plastic packaging and its no different from this one.

Top spot

Nope, 4 way scroll wheel, right click, left click and a magnify button on the left, having said that you can customise if you install the latest Intellepoint drivers from Microsoft http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/Download.mspx

Nice find :) Thanks for the pionter might have to get one of these ;-)
[mod]#40
I have 2 of these and find them really useful, the only drawback I have found is that the hinge point for the buttons means that they are a little stiff to operate unless your finger tips are right on the very forward edge.
Delivery was quick for mine, just a couple of days.
