historically, yes. Can't comment on whether it is still the case now.

Check your website at work to see if you can get a copy through the Microsoft Home Use Programme - this will cost about a tenner for Office 2016 so no annual fees to pay!

eeeew I hate handing over to Microsoft to waste on buying nokia and other stuff nonsense!

Heat from me. The latest MS Office apps fully licenced and supported on my desktop, my Surface Pro, and three laptops. For £49 per year? Definitely hot! Only half what I'm paying for Light room and Photoshop on my desktop and 'editing' laptop (and that is also cost-effective for me).

you could the last time I tried. Stack as many as you like.

The 1TB of storage for each of the 5 users is helpful too. Split it between 5 family members or friends and it's a tenner a year for latest version of office, with updates and storage. It's a good deal

Thanks for the clarification - so you can hold up to 5 years in advance but no more.

Yup, I bought 2 to stack on to last year's personal > home trick and will have until 2021. Great deal, thanks OP.

Thanks, seems like a great deal. Don't understand why so cold!
EDIT: May be cold because you can buy an Office 356 Home licence slightly cheaper from other eBay sellers (e.g. OnexStore) but are these sellers legit?

OnexStore.com definitely look legit - Microsoft Partner of the Year 2016! Not so sure about some of the other sellers on eBay mind...

The devil is in the details, most ebay sellers sell you one of their 5 entitlements.
