This is Microsoft Office 365 Personal. It gives you a year's subscription, allowing one PC or Mac, 1 mobile and one tablet (or iPad) to be connected to the service.

This is the cheapest offer I can find from any UK retailer.

You probably know what's in MS Office but please don't downvote just because you prefer the alternatives.

You get:
Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, Access, 1 Terabyte (1024Gb) of OneDrive.cloud storage and 60 minutes of outgoing Skype calls per month.

It's a licence card and via microsoft.com you get the programs to your computer.

So, this is getting downvotes from the get-go with no comments. Boy it's cold in here.

I think the standard price is £59.95, so seems like a good deal.

I don't like the subscription model though, if you use Office at work it's worth checking the microsofthup.com website to see if you qualify to get it for a tenner.

Looks a decent price at the moment, probably unpopular because for another £12 you can (on and off - off at the moment) get it bundled with the Linx 7 Windows tablet. The Linx is back at £79.95 at the moment, I'd guess when the Linx drops again so will the stand alone cost for this product (regularly can be had for £39.99 from memory). Probably worth doing the free trial and gambling on the price (almost certainly) dropping again soon.

Not voting down - just suggesting its not a great time to buy this product.

That's exactly what I did with the linx 7, I wasn't even looking for a tablet just the Microsoft office, it seemed almost silly not to get the linx!

P.S. I have voted hot, as at the moment I haven't seen Office cheaper and the offer for the linx 7 has ended.

Nice to see a few comments. I hadn't seen the on/off Linx tablet deals and my free trial is just ending so I went for it.

although this is the cheapest available I think the 5 license version is better 'value' especially if you can find somene to share the sub with, find 5 close friends or family and it would work out about £15 each.

if thats true and it's nationwide and not a wild goose chase that's a stonking price
#11
It's fairly easy to get the 5 license version for under £50 from sales or reputable eBay sellers so this seems pointless.
#12
While probably a good deal in its own right i think its getting cold votes as a pure instinctive reaction against microsoft who are effectively renting out a product and never letting you own it - they are fleecing customers at this price particularly casual users

Please point out a legitimate ebay id for this. I couldn't find one.

I'd never heard of Microsofthup but just checked with my work email and was able to purchase it for £9.95.

Thanks very much just saved me £40!

Not only that. It's a nightmare to install, support sucks, it's slow to load, slows down your pc because it's check stuff online all the time, too much auto pop up junk like windows 8. Same goes for visio since 2007. Why all this auto pop up junk that gets in the way. Grrr. I switch as much as I can off
#16
Yeh this auto pop up junk is as annoying as a pcworld worker asking you every 5 seconds if they can help you.
