The Home & Student version has been cheap for many years now; my parents bought the Office 2003 version about 4 years ago and it was inexpensive.
I don’t like this version so much as they’ve dropped Outlook. :x

If you are a student, wait a little while and soon you will be able to get Office2007 Ultimate (the most complete package) for something like £38 (last year's price) .
However, to qualify you must have British university/college email address.
The license : 1 desktop + 1 laptop

The Office 2003 version was called "Student and Teacher" edition rather than "Home and Student" edition, a subtle difference.

The Student and Teacher edition was meant to be for those in education.

The Home and Student is now for anybody.

You say you miss Outlook, what was it in Outlook, rather than Outlook express, that you missed ?

If it was Calendar there is now a built in Calendar in Vista.

Voting cold, not because of the product, or the price, just because it's from Saver/astore. This (IMHO) phoenix company doesn't deserve the business.

Thanks for putting me straight on that. I’m not sure why my parents have that version as they aren’t students! :whistling:

I don't think there will be an Office 2008 for Windows. There is an Office 2008 for Macs only.

If you have children in education, this website seems to be the cheapest and comes with outlook
