Having seen how cold this product normally goes i'm expecting this to be my worst deal so far!

It's the lowest this model has been as fas as I know (Microsoft had this bundle price on their website a little while back) and I would guess the xbox s bundle could be sold on for £200 making it easily the lowest you could get this model for.

With an i5/8gb/256gb and a dGPU it's the one i'd go for and been looking at for a while.

Plus Quidco 1.1%

This is an amazing deal, you can resell the xbox for at least £150, it's better than the one in black friday with the mouse for £1400.

Anything over a nasty £199 laptop with a 1366x768 screen is cold.

Are you sure this includes a dGPU? There's no mention of it and when you click on the Surface Book under "This bundle includes" the individual model doesn't show it either.

Edit:-
To answer my own question and avoid confusion, it does mention in the Highlights "Dedicated NVIDIA graphic card"

It happens to apple deals too i think. Not sure if it is fanboys or just people who don't want an expensive product thinking nobody else should either.

Please do a search for "apple" on HUKD. The first page of results will display how wrong you are.

Don't think this model comes at this spec WITHOUT the dGPU... so yes, it will.

I'm pretty sure the 256GB I5 models comes with dGPU, the only one that doesn't is the 128GB.

Is this the 2016 updated model or last year's? Either way it's a good price.

Same thing... They haven't updated it apart from introducing the 'performance base' for extra cash.

And it's a very good price... Just weighing up which bits of me the wife will chop off if I go home with one...

Yeah, it never makes sense why expensive stuff get cold.

Anyway, If you take the effort to resell the xbone, it's better than this one:

Yeah, is this the one with the performance base though? I really need the one with the updated GPU for work.

I've stopped trusting the whole hot/cold thing as it's not reliable at all.

Same happened with gtx 1070/1080 gpus, some cracking deals posted cheaper than anywhere else but people automatically vote cold.

It's a real shame as people may not stop posting good deals like this for fear of getting shot down.

Maybe they should implement a feature where to vote "cold" somebody first needs to post a link to a better deal.

Mugged a friend for his Staff Discount, so 1.1% Quidco and 10% Staff Discount off this made it impossible to refuse.

Just Beware if you buy one of these

I just picked mine up and the microsoft seal was broken and a PCWorld sticker on it saying they had pre installed software

Checked the serial number on Microsoft website and it said warranty valid till 12/07/17 so it seems they set it up (With all thier bloatware) 5 months ago and the warranty started at that time PCWorld are adamant it has a year Microsoft are saying no only 7 months.

So slung it back at them and said I want a factory fresh unopened one with no bloat. Now have to wait 2 weeks for delivery

But at £1095 after selling the Xbox on Gumtree for £200 and £143.90 discount from a mates Staff Discount its a bargain worth waiting for.

Very nice! Bloody cheek of PCWorld to do that no guarantee it hasn't been a demo etc so i'd have been the same.

I wish I had access to that discout then i'd probably get one too and nice one getting £200 for the xbox as I was hoping that would be the right price for it.
#22
@Sp0oner Cheers yes I was not sure where to price the Xbox but I put it on Gumtree at £200 got a call within 10mins and collected within 1/2 hour very happy with that as Ebuyer are now doing the small package at £199!

As for staff discount I live in Notts and luckily know a few people who work at the big PCWorld/Nowhow warehouse there, so there is always someone about to share a staff discount on a decent deal.

just need to wait for the factory fresh one to arrive now, hoping it will be this week

Shame the deal took the Negative plunge, its such a shame expensive kit on here normally gets hammered for no reason. Takes so long to find the deals now amongst the 5p off dog food red hots!

Completely agree tells you something about the demographic of this site when yorkshire puddings for 50p goes over 1000 degrees oO

Probably the latter, lots of people don't get that spending extra money can get you extra quality though I admit that the law of diminishing returns does kick in at some point. At the end of the day it's a deal if it's the cheapest a certain item can be purchased. If that item represents value for money IS A DIFFERENT issue.

I got a similar deal yesterday in store but it was the i7 / 8GB / 256GB model for £1599.10. No idea what the suggestion of display models is about both the laptop and Xbox were in sealed boxes.
