Lovely machine but if you've got this sort of money to spend, I'd think the top end Dell XPS 13 or 15 would be a better option
Saying that I've got over £1600 in pcworld gift card and been looking at this surface book which is out of stock for the i7 256GB :(

The prices remind me of the 1980s for a 386sx desktop with 20MB HDD and 2MB RAM. (Yes. MB not GB)!

Dell Xps 13 has not UHD and no external graphics card whereas with the i7, you can get external graphics card.

If you didn't want a tablet the Surface Laptop should be coming in at a cheaper price point....
