Following on from the other Surface Deals, I personally think this is one of the better ones.

This i5 Surface has 8GB RAM compared to the cheaper 4GB models that have recently been posted.

Yes, it's a lot of money and yes, it's probably expensive for what it is, but if you are in the market for one, this seems like a good deal. You're getting a lot more in this bundle for the same price as the tablet itself costs.

John Lewis had this tablet around £100 cheaper a few days ago, but even with the increased tablet price it still seems like a better deal.

There are several different product code numbers depending on the bundle so if this deal interests you make sure you use the Product code : 02018880.

The other bundles have less in them but they are listed as the same price oddly.

Lol. Cold because of the price or the item? X)

Could be because new one is around the corner and prices could drop further, or some ppl don't want to pay this much for what they falsely believe as "just another tablet".

Looks like they've sorted out the prices. The bundle you mention now shows at £2199

Cold. You can get an iPad pro for less than this, which is thinner AND lighter. /s

Absolutely. It depends on what you want to use it for though. The ipad wont run some of the mainstream full art programs whereas the surface does.

I understand there are other programs that people use on the iPad but for artists especially the Surface seems to be more recommended despite Apple having that great pencil.

I would like one of each but sadly my lottery tickets seem to be duds. :D

Its thinner, lighter, less powerfull. Its thinner because it doesnt have an intel i7 or a usb port. Or any port. The only things that make it pro is the name. And you get more for what you pay with the surface pro 4. #appletax

I was being sarcastic ( /s ). Apple have been advertising their ProPad as if it's a real computer, which is a joke. It's just a massive iPod. They are really snookered with productivity in mass computing. Their desktop OS still doesn't support touch and their mobile OS can't handle real productivity software, only cut-down dumbed down versions.

Microsoft have moved in the right direction with Windows10 and convertible devices. All the manufacturers (except one fruity one) are getting in on convertibles. Apple are really behind the curve in this area.
