Good price, I got one like this of a auction site recently and it does the job very well.

OP - I would vote hot but I am still unable to do so!

It's just a webcam!

If you can find us a similarly specced, similarly reviewed webcam at a cheaper price then I'm the Pope.

The Logitech Quickcam E3500 which was posted last week was cheaper and is on par or even better than the VX-1000 (I have both).
this is an amazing price
I would go for this one instead!

Better deal (if you get free delivery)
I have this web cam. Quality is very good for picture and software. To get this quality you would have to spend more money with another brand.
I got this for free when I opened a student account with RBS... an account that they never opened for me! So free cam, not complaining :)

But the quality is very good, and it integrates seamlessly with Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Call
I have used one of these for the last couple of years or so and have only had a positive experience with it. It was dead easy to setup, dead easy to use. At this price I'd definitely say it's a bargain.
OK, here I am again... anybody tried using it with Linux?
