(£54.99 when first posted - updating above post)

Now down to £49.99. I delayed getting mine, because my friend has the same one and I have been using it to see if I like it - results! I like it a lot! So I'm now getting on at the reduced price of £49.99. Bargain!
Can you charge the mouse?
oooh nice!
Yes - and it comes with a docking station which is really handy. I've been looking for a wireless set for a while and I've decided to go for this one. I'm collecting it at the local store, and I get 3% back from quidco too.

I'm a happy bunny!

(Remember to vote your opinions!)
I'm gonna do exactly the same...cheers!!! :D

I've been buying like mad recently and I love it!
Spend spend spend! I just can't help myself!
Oh sugar! I've made a silly mistake! I've just taken this out of the box and realised that what I thought was the docking station was just the transmitter! Sorry boxblu!

I'll amend the above post. Apologies for my wee mistake!
No problem emma. ;) You say it doesn't come with a dock so does that mean the mouse needs new batteries each time or are they rechargable?

It comes with a couple of normal duracell/energizer batteries to use to start with. But I have my own rechargeable batteries to pop into it. I have plenty of AA rechargeable batteries, and I always have spares for when one set runs out. :) I used it all last night - I really like the laser mouse, it's a pleasure to use. When you use the PC as much as I do, it's nice to have good equipment.

One drawback my friend mentioned - the mouse wheel is smooth rolling - it doesn't have that little click you can feel under your finger when it's going up and down. He said this might be a problem for gamers - when you are scrolling through weapons in a game, you can't feel the definite click when you change weapons. I haven't tried it out in any games yet though. But I'm really happy with it so far.

I never thought I'd be spending £50 on a keyboard and mouse - but when you have spent £800 on the base unit of your computer, good peripherals are a "must".

Doh! and Double Doh! I'm a sucker for technology and bought myself a brand new Logitech Bluetooth and Media wireless and optical mouse, and now you put this up!! :x
Don't worry, Logitech are excellent as well. Although I must say my laser mouse is excellent.

The keyboard has transparent keys, so I'm thinking of popping them all out, and putting in a backlights under the keys!!! Class!
I actually have this mouse at the mo you see & i really love it.

I did however think i might use the wireless keyboard and give the other mouse to my gf. Although like you emma, i like things to look good so having a nice matching silver keyboard and mouse to go with my wee baby (see below) appealed to me. ;) Although i may just keep the keyboard coz i like having a dock for my mouse. How are you gonna put lights under the keys? I wanna do that too :D a nice blue one to match my machine.<--- boxblu's baby
You can pop the keys out one by one (carefully I might add), them you get a bendy light, like a wire, that can go under the keys. Or you can get LEDs that go in - I've seen these in Maplin, I'm not certain what they are called... but I'm going to try it out!
Good idea. We should post the results :D
Will do! Might not be for a few weeks though - when I get the chance to do it.
