Excellent price!! Hot!!
#3
Excellent price to say Kinect is £100 alone and the 250GB console is usually nearly £200

Great find

wow.

thats **** disgusting.

Also i am pretty sure GAME could afford to sell at that price, they are just ripping off ***** glad i dont buy ought from there, you can tend to find things brand new for cheaper than their pre owned price. (the 3ds been an example of that)

I find it hard to believe that a retailer like Game would not be able to get a higher margin from their trade prices and would have to resort to this. Most likely hearsay but as our work filter bans forums I cant check the link so I'll hold judgement... still sounds like rubbish to me!!
#14
Anyone know what the trade in price for these are?
#15
It's definitely true. On that article Eurogamer have an official document Game sent to their staff.
#16
Just a reminder you can get free delivery to your local tesco extra :)

Mine's arriving tomorrow.
#17
anyone know what game comes with it; is it just Adventures?
#18

Better deal than Sudio24 were offering last month !!!! And I dont think Tesco will try to Rip you off ! Unlike Studio 24

#22
Unfortunately they don't deliver to all Tesco Extras - at least that wasn't the case for Brighton anyway.

TopCashback 4.01% + £10 code + already super cheap deal, this is hotter than ever!:)

Great deal, just ordered one

Super hot price!

Careful of moving the console while the disc is still spinning... It WILL damage the disc. The drive doesnt "hold" the disc in place.
I found out the hard way involving Fifa 11 :-/
#31
Great price - though I did alright with my bundle deal for 250 a few days ago
#32
Wow Hot Hot Hot! Thanks OP.

Dont be careful, just DONT DO IT!!! If you want a handheld console, get a DS/ PSP. Devices like portable HDD and Portable DVD are made specifically to cope with the huge forces involved when something that is spinning at high speed is moved around. I think that its acceptable that MS ASSUMED that people would generally leave their 360's in situe so did not incorporate those measures?!?! :|

I was trying to get a better wi-fi signal (It's annoying when you're about to score a goal and it freezes!) so moved it (!slowly!) out from the shelf and it scratched it.

It's a common problem on xbox 360 (since 2005!). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360_technical_problems#Scratched_discs

"Discs have also been scratched by stationary consoles during normal use"

I don't think PS3 does this.

I don't know m8, I read that MS had actually identified the cause (an unprotected edge near the drive that only comes into contact when the disc "bends" due to centrifugal force (or is it centripetal?!?). Its an easy fix so Im surprised the new units are still doing it!?!? If yours did, contact MS, they USED to offer replacement FOC ;)

The xbox disc spins 12x faster than the PS3's, iirc.
