Bought a few things from buyithere.co.uk.

They do a lot of catalogue returns. I have never received anything other than described, and the "Damage" to the box has been minimal.

EVEN SO YOU STILL DONT HAVE ANY MANUFACTURS WARRANTY

Not an amazing price IMHO. There have been a lot of offers for brand new kit at £99.99 over the past few months for an Arcade.....

They would need to be nearer half that price to tempt me - over buying 'new'.

Since the RRP has been raised to £149.99, the average internet price for the console only is around the £140 mark.

I've taken the plunge. Can't wait.

My last one just died on me.

Sounds like nonsense to me.. :whistling:

If the MFR Date on the console is in date you just return it to MS, just like any other used 360 sale...

I ordered an elite from these people, seems fine, manufacture date was 8.08 though! So not one to go for if you want a Jasper I think. Th box was fine however.

The strangest thing about the elite I bought was that it had a silver warranty sticker - surely it should have had a new fangled one which was a different colour?

I thought the warranty was from date of purchase?

What uf you buy a brand new 360 from high street and the manuf date is 4 months old, so you have list them4 months straight away!

If you bought it new from the high street you have a 12 month warranty from the date of purchase. Without a purchase receipt MS will repair it 12 months from the MFR date or 3 years if it's RROD'd or E74'd.

My laptop I have just sent off for repair had an MFR date of 9 months before I bought it! luckily by printing off my purchase receipt the manufacturer honoured the warranty :-)

Buy it anywhere BUT buyitthere!!

This site should be banned from HDUK imo, a heck of a lot of bad experiences come from this place.

not gonna buy the xbox but a good site for bargains, gonna get the little man some ds games, great post, hot from me. :)

I bought a PS3 from them about a month ago - the box had no damage and the console was absolutely fine.

Speaking from PERSONAL experience, this supplier was fine for me.

A reasonable price for the 360, not brilliant but reasonable.

Sorry, I have had completely the opposite experience with them. My first PSP was faulty, they gave me a full refund no questions asked. The second one worked fine. I also managed to be one of the few to get a wii guitar for £9.99, so I'm very happy with them. If anything else pops up that looks interesting (I've already got a 360 so this deal isn't for me), I wouldn't hesitate.

And that 2 week warranty is nonsense, if the console failed after fifteen days you would be quite within your rights to have it replaced as not 'fit for purpose'. In fact, a small claims court would consider a failure within twelve months as being not fit for purpose.

Edit: Actually, just reading the terms and conditions, its not a '2 week warranty', its a 'full refund within 2 weeks, no questions asked', in addition to statutory rights.

I agree, there have been some excellent prices. But now they're raised the RRP of the standard arcade pack to a penny short of £150, those deals are going to be very hard to come by.

bought ps3 from here recently. Unit was faulty, aftersales a bit patchy. Still waiting on refund.

Only experience I had was ordering a couple of Guitar Hero guitars from there recently or so I thought.. stock system said 22 remaining but when it came down to it they had very little stock and afaik not a single person on HDUK got one..

Mine turned up today and yes, the box had a small scuff on it but the machine nor extras had been touched so looks like I'll register it tomorrow and get full 12 months warrenty.

Thanks again op.
