yer one of mine doesnt charge says the battery is full when its not

and if you buy one, as long as you have warranty, quickly ring up xbox support, say its broken and they'll send a new one out to you absaloutly free and all you need to do is send them confirmation you'd bought one.

That is what ours do. I've bought new controllers and everything still the same.
#10
Yea think I will stick with my high capacity aa rechargeables..
#11
Decent price but these things are complete bobbins. Great whilst they work, but I bought two just before Christmas and neither of them work anymore. The controller will work whilst plugged in, and claim to have full battery - but the second you unplug it, it switches off.

its very tempremental - you have to sort of loosely connect the controller to cable - that works for me - but tbh i just used the quick charge stand

Just bought mine, nice one :D

hmmm, weird to hear so many complaints about these. I got one with my launch 360 and it lasted almost 4 years, with pretty heavy usage.

Same here, never had a problem after about 3 years of use.

I have 2 of these kits and they have both worked fine for 3 years of heavy use. Still using the original battery packs and they still hold a long charge.

As with all rechargeable batteries, charge them fully, then drain them fully, charge fully, use fully. I know someone who has their play and charge cable in most of the time, and as a result the battery pack holds almost no charge when the cable isn't in.

I have two wireless 360 controllers and i just wanted to know if these are really worth getting at this price or should i stick with my rechargeable batterys:?
#19
This is for anyone who is having trouble with the indicator light going red for a few seconds and then green to say it is fully charged....

Basically it happens when the battery has been out of juice for ages. It can be fixed though (albeit a bit tedious to do). Just need to keep unplugging the cable and then reconnecting it to the controller. Eventually it will stick on the red light and charge as normal.....

This has worked for a lot of people I know who have had the problem.

we purchase this nest week pay day XD

Do you have a link for the rechargeables you use please?

And a price?

And remember - resistance "is" futile!

It doesnt just happen when they are left flat, I think it just happens WHENEVER you run them down fully. As you said, just "tease" them back to life by plugging the usb in, when it goes green (but you know its flat) unplug and plug back in, eventually (sometimes 20 odd times!!) it will stay red and charge up fully.

2-and-a-half years here - doesn't last like it used to, but it still works!

Got the ones from Asda, Viper i think. 2 chargers for £9. Black or white and work fine.

what you guys need is usb chargeable batteries....that's what I have, i always have a pair charging on the front of the xbox while playing with the other pair.

They're a bit pricey at £7.40 inc delivery (one pair) at amazon but well worth it!!!
